The media could not be loaded. I wanted a timer next to my computer to remind me to GTF out of the chair and move around. As a computer programmer who also has a lot of side projects when I'm not working, I spend at least 12 hrs a day in front of the computer. This time has several features that caught my attention. There is no audible ticking. You have to put the timer right up to your ear to hear anything. It's REALLY quiet. The alarm has two settings, loud and very soft. Those are great features, but I was also attracted to its blue housing and yellow star knob. It has a nighttime feel that calms me. It's cute!Update: 11/12/2024. I haven't used it in about a year. I tried it today, but it won't work. I replaced the batteries, and yes, they are in the correct way. It no longer ticks when I set the time, and the timer doesn't count down. The pause light works, and the timer does beep when I manually turn it to zero, but it won't count down on its own. That is so disappointing.Update: 11/13/2024. Since my clock no longer works, I decided to crack it open. Now I know why these clocks stop working. See the video I've attached. Very thin, delicate wires are attached to the center dial. Each time the dial is turned, the wires move. Over time, the wiring can break and cause a disconnect. I'm not an electrician. I don't know jack about circuits. I have a soldiering iron, but I don't know how to test circuits. I have no choice but to toss this in the trash.

This product works great for the classroom environment, at home or in the car. I use it for quiet time with my toddler, tv/ipad time and before bedtime. It allows him to visually see how much time he has left. He enjoys quiet time so much more because he gets to move the dial to the desired time. The buzzer is loud enough for me to hear from the living room so I know when his time is up. I have also used it to help him understand how long it will take to get to a certain location in the car. I am a special education teacher and this product how helped my students tremendously. Super easy to set up. Battery life has been good, I’ve used it everyday since I got it. Size is perfect, my toddler can hold it in is hands and move the dial easily.

Easy to use. Gives a visual to a child for routines, travel time, and even helps getting a child off to school. He or she even learn to understand the basics of minutes/hour. I love the visual of the rainbow disappearing.

Works as expected.

I got the black timer with the rainbow very pretty and useful. Perfect for kids they can get a simple understanding of time, even though they are young. We use it all the time and they actually respect it which is the best part

I purchased this timer for my daughter who has ADHD at the recommendation of her therapist. It has been getting great use and it’s easy to use. Honestly, it’s helping to bring order back into my home! Great purchase

Updated review: It stopped working suddenly after a year. I'm not sure what happened. It didn't get dropped or anything like that. I switched the batteries and everything else.I absolutely love this little timer. It works well and it's so cute. It's really helped me stay focused when I work on a task and I wouldn't be constantly checking to see how much time was left like I would do with a traditional one.

I ordered two of these to use in my classroom and one did not work at all. The o e that works does its job but I will warn the alarm sound is really annoying.

This is very cute. I got it for the kitchen as my mom is a senior and sometimes forgets what time she turned on the oven. This is my solution. But it doesn't come with batteries (2 x AAA) so I can't properly test it just now. Otherwise I like it. Knocking off 1 star for not including batteries.

So I am an educator and I use timers for everything. We have timers in every classroom, mine alone having 4 timers for different uses.The timer iself works well. You can choose between 2 volumes (low or loud) and 3 or 60 second beep. I use the 60 second beep and if you want to stop it, you simply press the buttom. The 3 second option is good to have though.The timer is visually appealing and works well. The kids like looking at it and the quality is good. It is very easy to use.The only thing is that it does require 2 AAA batteries. It's not a deal breaker, but I have 2 similar timers that are wind up mechanical timers where you just do a full turn and then select your time without ever needing batteries. Not a big deal though as the batteries should last a very long time.
