Noah
Noah, the usually in control and stoic King of the Demons, is uncharacteristically uneasy. Noah is no exception to the rules that bind all Nightwalkers. He feels the need during Samhain just like they all do. Lately his need for his mate is becoming almost unbearable though. He dreams of her every night but never sees her face. He doesn't know who she is, or where she is, but he knows she is "the one.".Kestra Irons has spent most of her life as independent and in control as possible. Lately her erotic dreams of an unknown man are rocking her tough façade. With help, Noah finally meets Kestra but the meeting is nothing like he hoped. Not only are they surrounded by danger but also Kestra is fighting him tooth and nail. Noah has his work cut out for him convincing Kestra that they were destined to be together as a new threat is poised to destroy the Nightwalkers. How do you stop a threat that comes from the inside? It will take everything Noah has, Kestra's newfound power, and the strength of each and every Nightwalker to stop their enemies, again. From the beginning of the Nightwalker series I was anxious to read Noah's story. Noah is everything I hoped it would be and more! Noah needed a story as powerful and compelling as he is and he needed a woman to match his intensity and strength. Kestra fits him to a T. As the Nightwalkers fight yet another threat, the storyline continues to remain fresh and thrilling. One of the things I like most about series novels is the continuation of a great storyline and revisiting old characters. In Noah, previous characters play a very big role in the story. Jacquelyn Franks' characters come alive on the pages. You can't help but feel drawn to each and every one. The Vampires, Demons, Lycanthropes and more are fascinating and personable. Noah is engaging, exciting, enchanting, and erotic. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, Jacquelyn Frank is one hell of a storyteller!NannetteReviewed for Joyfully Reviewed

The best is not always saved for last
I have just been introduced to this series and was "hooked" right after I read JACOB. THe ensuing books were also very good, so I'd assumed (dangerous) that NOAH would be absolutely fantastic considering how his character was built in the earlier books. What a shock and disappointment! I have to agree with others that Kestra was just so unlikeable. She seemed to have no character. She thought only of herself and her feelings and her trials and tribulations through most of the book. This is a future queen? I can't even say she was a strong woman - at least not my idea of what "strength" looks like. Bella would make a better queen.Noah just seemed stupid, weak, and whiney. I kept waiting for him to leave his adolescent behaviors behind. And Kestra was worse! Also in agreement with others - way too many long and repetitive love scenes and too many loose ends. Maybe some loose ends will be tied with the Shadowdwellers. I certainly hope so.The one thing I really did and still do like about JF's books is that she does not abandon the old characters like so many other authors do. It's enjoyable to see the other mated pairs evolve and be integral parts of the story. For me, it was about the only saving grace of this book. I was sick of and bored with Kestra and Noah well before the middle of the book.

URG !!!!
I loved all the books in this series until the end of "NOAH" , I just cant understand how or for that matter why it would have ended like it did . When books end like this it makes me not want to pick up any more books from the same author & I hate to say it cause I really loved the series . Just remember that I did say that I loved the series , just hated the end of "NOAH" . Lets just hope that she has a book 6 and or 7 in mind , thats the only thing that could make this a great series & then it would get 5 stars from me and alot of others!

Hot and Steamy!
As King of the Demons, Noah is pleased to see his people finally finding their mates umongst the recently found Druid's and other Night Walker races, but when Noah finally finds his mate only to see her die by a bullet to the head, he has to make a choice use the child of his Enforcers who can move through time to save his mate?, or lose the faith and friendship of all of his family and Friends, find out for your self, but start with the first book, Jacobe to keep up with the series.

A Darker Noah Was More Interesting
When I saw how thick this book was compared to the others in the series, I was surprised at how quickly I read through it.This was the only Nightwalkers book I hadn't yet read. Noah was always one of my favorite characters, and I liked how he was a troubled soul in this one, without the normal shininess about him. He came off as more accessible--I'd say more human, but he is a demon, after all, and a king to boot.Kendra's dark life was a good complement to him.

Most intense paranormal book I've read in a very long time
I haven't even finished the book yet but I am "compelled" to start this review. I will augment it when I'm finished reading it. I read A LOT of paranormal books (grew up on my mother's sci fi) and It's getting harder to find authors who write outside of the usual "template." So I'm delighted to say that, when Noah and Kestra complete their first, thorough "imprinting," with Gideon's help, I was fascinated. Hopefully the rest of the book belies the (perhaps jaded?) negative reviews here.

Noah
I realy enjoyed this book. However, you need to read the other books first to understand the characters inneraction on each other. I saw Noah grow as a man, mate, friend and king. Honorable men as leaders is a refreshing concept humans should try. I like the way all the nightwalkers banded to fight a common threat. Somehow in the process they learned about each other and formed solid friendships.Laws changed.People changed. This was a good book! I hope there is another in the works.

Great read
I really enjoyed this book from the series, the best so far. The story was not predictable as the previous ones, really gritty storylines with lots of deep troubled feelings in both characters and I really enjoy that the author keeps all the previous characters involved in the storyline which adds a lot more interest. With all of this series, the romance is hot and wild with just as hot males, great read it was hard to put my kindle away,

darker edge
this is book 5 in the series and deals with noah the demon king who is looking for love and getting into all sorts of trouble. If you have read and of the earlier volumes you can see how it is all going to end.

A book full of passion
After the very good story about Damien and Syreena I was full of expectation for this book. Now the Demon King, Noah, is in the focus of the author. The beginning was for me a little bit disappointet but as soon as Kes is in his world and stop with her childish behaviour, the story is very very good. Well and then the love story between them is voll of amazing erotic, many funny discussions and romantic. So the beginning was not so good but that doesn't matter because of the fantastic story in summarize. The backgroundstory isn't so full of tension and action as in the last book, but it doesn't matter because the love story was so good. Well, I was a little sad that so many demons and vampire died in this book. Because some grazy vampire want to gain the power of Syreena and the Demon King, there is a big battle in the end of the book. And it's difficult for Noah to handle this because it's time of Samhain and as you read the storys before you know the importance of this date.Well known character like Jacob, Bella, Elijah, Jasmin, Damien and Syreena are in the book, too. Jasmin is jealousy as always and sometimes a little bitch. I don't like her.Kes is a very strong and independent woman and for Noah it is difficult to win her heart. They have to handle with the past of them both and some trouble as a effect of Kes' negative past. But all in all they are a perfect couple in the end, as the others, too.All in all the book was very good, full of passion, erotic and tension as always. I hope there will be an additional book in this series.
