Works great. Sample control graphs included in review
Controls nearly perfect when used correctly. I think the negative reviews regarding control may be due to not understanding thermal inertia of the controlled item, see discussion below and attached plots. I tested it under a full 250watt load with no issues. Logging function is awesome, though the ap graphics are so lightly colored they are hard to read. Trends are easily downloaded as CSV for use in MS Excel if you want. Instructions for operation are for crap, but fortunately it is not that difficult to operate the controller and logger function. Probe lengths make it easy to use on two controlled setups at once.Regarding attached plots:1. I plugged a 250w (maximum rating) heat lamp into load 1 and directed it at the temp. probe at about 10" away, proge just hanging in air. Since there is minimal thermal inertia, the control is perfect between the two set points. If one wants to control to a single set point, then they need to buy a much more expensive PID controller. This is a two point controller so this is what you get.2. I plugged in a 50w heating blanket (one for your back) on load 2 and set the temp probe on the blanket. Note that due to thermal inertia of the blanket, the temperature rises well above the upper set point. This is NOT bad control (on the controllers part), this is a bad configuration.3. Once I was satisfied the controller worked OK under full load, I put it to actual use on a planting pot full of moist soild and using a heat mat under it. I wasn't sure how the dynamics of thermal inertia would be, but they looked OK with minimal under and overshoots. So I narrowed the set point range for the next plot.4. Same set up as 3, but with narrower set points. Note that a wider setpoint will mean less cycles on the control device, narrower is better control but more cycles on the control device. Trade-off for longevity of device.

Has been an excellent upgrade from the standard BN-LINK thermostats.
We had a couple of the BN-LINK thermostats, one for our snake's heating pad and one for the overhead heating lamp. Literally the day before we went out of town, one of them went bad, so we ordered this to replace not only that one but both of them.So far it's been SOOO much better... the thermostats seem to be more accurate, and being able to control the thermostat remotely is nice, but the killer feature is the way you can see a chart of the temperatures, you can see that it's working correctly, cycling in a regular manner, it really gives you a better insight into your pet's temperatures. Also being able to set an alert temperature is a huge deal... my partner was testing this, and my phone went off letting me know there was a problem, and I immediately texted him only to find he was testing the system. Obviously, it worked! My only complaint is there's no backlight on the actual thermostat, and it's just a simple LCD display, so it's very hard to read on the device itself... thankfully the app works perfectly fine, so that hasn't really been an issue.

works as described.
I use this product to control temps of my ball python racks. For the price the complaints are minor in comparison to more expensive units. I will say it is easier to setup the product using the app as compared to pressing the buttons on the front. Just scan the QR code in the directions. I have complete control of both devices anywhere I am at with the use of my smart phone. Another gripe is that the product does not lite up with pressing any of the buttons or you can not read the display at night, while in the reptile room. It reminds me of an old watch style display, grey and dull. With that being said after I bought the first one and the ease of setup after installing the app and liking the end result I did buy a second one. I'm able to see and control both controllers on my phone which is handy and I can have alarm set points that will notify if something is wrong and temps stray away from what they are set for. Probably my biggest issue is the cord length for plugging this into a wall outlet. What can you do with a 2.5ft-3ft cord. "Nothing" so be prepared to use a short extension cord. This should have came included with atleast a 6ft cord to plug into a wall outlet. on the other hand the two lengths of wire for the temp sensors was plenty long enough with a ton to spare. This is after 3 weeks of use. If any problems come up within 6 months i'll update.

Works with Home Assistant via Tuya Local
Works great so far, and can be integrated with Home Assistant via Tuya Local (regular Tuya app works fine on its own, but the Tuya integration for Home Assistant doesn't handle it well - Tuya Local works perfectly though)

Worked at first
I've had this for 11 months now with no issues. 2 weeks ago the CH1 started saying temp too low please check. I replaced the heat lamp and bulb to only have the same issue. I plugged the brand new heat set up on the other side and it reads temp to high. So I reset this inkbird thermostat, recalibrated it and same thing so that tells me the thermostat is bad. I contacted inkbird since these come with a 1 year warranty and instead of them replacing the thermostat they keep giving me the run around. Customer service is crap, don't waste your time contacting them for anything. If they decide to replace this I'll update my review.UPDATE! They agreed it's defective and issued a replacement finally!!

Failed after just two years.
My device failed just after two years. The device was set to 88 degrees F and had a failure that caused my heat mat to reach a temperature of 105. The probe was accurately reading the temperature but the device was not cutting power once 88 degrees was achieved. I almost lost several animals in the breeding rack. I have several other brands that are over 8 years old and still going strong. I contacted Inkbird support just to inform them of the issue and I was told that they would help me if I bought another unit.
