Howling Commandos of S.H.I.E.L.D. 1: Monster Squad

This has certainly been one of the more interesting comic book stories I have ever read. While I'm not super familiar with a lot of the characters, the concept and story have been a blast to read. While it doesn't do anything too new, the characters all work together really well, with the composition of creatures being a definite highlight of the story. I highly recommend this. It feels like an old cheesy monster movie, and I mean that in a good way. This was a lot of fun.

One of Marvel's abbreviated ongoing, this book had tons of potential to be an amazing journey into the supernatural end of the Marvel U. Instead, it ends with more questions than answers. But the issues here are all worth the read, so make sure you don't skip it the 2nd time around.

Arrived on time and new. Fun, dumn comic about Marvels monsters.

A mix of super heroes monsters and old time action .It leaves so much room for storytelling and chapter growth keep it comming

cons:1. the first 20 pages or so were ripped out2. it is in horrible condition even considering the loss3. it was obviously stolen from "harris county public library"4. it came it a bag that was stuck to the cover, and tore it5. betterworld books are straight up criminals that take your money and give you trashpros:1. fun story, would make a good show for Disney+

An enjoyable look at some strange members of S.H.I.E.L.D taking on the bad paranormal monsters trying to take over the world. A lot more enjoyable then expected, with far more interesting characters than your normal comic book heroes. Great art as well that helps add to the enjoyment of this comic!

...instead it's Marvel's waste of your time and money.Disappointing on every single level. Amature storyline. Art that's out of the 90's self publishing days. NO characterization. I mean.... Dugan page one, I don't like Bing a robot. Dugan page 2, I don't like being a robot. Dugan page 100, I don't like being a robot. Such an easy set up but page after page is wasted on boredom. I love Marvel's monsters and had high hopes for this. Now I see why the title was cancelled so fast.
