…..we love it. Our sons’ bathroom exhaust fan hadn’t worked in, well, EVER….. we finally replaced it with this model, and gone are the days of moldy bath mats and musty towels. The light is bright without breaking into X-Files-interrogation-bright, and the fan is so quiet that it no longer wakes us up.Installing it was a trial, as it was summer and one of us needed to be in the 120F attic while the other worked from below in the bathroom, but the instructions were clear, and we had it installed within a few hours. (And to think, some people pay for sauna treatments!)It has been working perfectly for a few months now, and is one of those “Why didn’t we do this 20 years ago” projects. :)

This unit has a sound rating of 1.2 sones, not 0.7 sones, see attached picture of box it came in. Removed original Broan fan/heat light assembly that was 28 years old, noisy. It masked sitting on the pot noises pretty good. Installation wasn’t bad if you’re mechanically inclined. Had to make the ceiling hole a little bigger. Used one mount bracket from old unit and had to bend up some flat stock steel for the other side for my installation. Guessing every install is a little different. LED light works well for a secondary light in my bathroom. Fan noise is loud enough to know it’s on 1.2 sones. 👍 Hope it has a long life.

I needed a replacement ceiling fan in my bathroom with the original one died. This one fit the opening in my ceiling and has been great. The fan is a lot quieter than the old one, but then the old one was possibly overly-loud because it was dying. I can't speak to ease of installation, as I hired someone to do it. It took him a few hours, but he did say it was backwards off how my original fan connected to the ducting in the ceiling.

Well it’s a fan I didn’t like the way the grill attached it took me a few minutes to get it to stay on but once I got it is was goodThe product otherwise is great super quiet and efficient make sure you spend the extra money and buy the right flex duct hose for it you won’t regret it light is bright andI would definitely buy again just think they can improve on the grill attachment end also not to hard to install

Great for the DIY person. No bracing to install. Mounts to rafter. Fit in existing hole, Looks good, good value, fan is good, LED is bright! A noticable difference from the old one

Installer could only connect outgoing fan in one direction, not the two intended, due to insufficient space in the ceiling opening.

This item is billed for 'new contruction' and 'retrofit. Item would benefit from some metal tabs on the non nailing side to rest/level the fan utilizing the ceiling drywall I purhased this item specifically because it included a light with the fan only to find that the LED light doesn't work.
