Q: Does the usb connection allow for multi-track recording?

It does not allow for multitrack recording. I would suggest an audio interface. It needs to output to a powered system like an amp or powered speakers

If you have external effects, they should all sound exactly the same. The only difference is Zed 12FX have 1 less stereo channel compared to 14, but what it gains is a very useful FX effects processor for travel on the light side (without additional effect processor weight).

Q: Does this unit come along with cd rom for record? If yes i bought new one from amazon with no cd rom.

The Allen and Heath ZED12FX does not include any form of disc drive. If you are looking to record a set, you can connect the ZED12FX to a computer via the USB port and record a 2-channel, stereo mixdown. If you want to play a CD through the mixer, you will need an external CD player, which you will have to connect to one of the ZED's inputs.We have this item in stock and ready to ship.
