Colorful paper arrived as promised. This paper is perfectly square. Worked great for my origami class. Students were very successful!

The biggest annoyance with this paper is that there are several different types/thicknesses. Some colors are "typical" origami paper, some are barely thicker than tissue paper, and some are construction paper. We used this for a project at school and it worked out ok, but for anyone that is into serious origami, I don't think this should be your first choice, especially if you use multiple pieces for a project.

There are models that require parts of the model to be highlighted, some models need both sides to be visible, and others - you can use either of the two.This is like hitting two birds with one stone. Two different types of origami paper at an awesome price. This is the best practice paper out there.The box packaging is very helpful to keep the papers organized.

I just bought this set of origami paper in 6 inches by 6 inches square shape. It comes in 500 sheets in great color selection. I like that it's easy to fold and holds a crease well. It's like my set of construction paper but this one is substance 20. There are two kinds in the pack: double sided and single sided paper. Each kind comes in 12 colors and each color has 20 sheets each. Also, it has 20 sheets white.I like that it has been flawlessly cut and ready to be used anytime if your child likes doing it. When I was a child, I have to start from scratch which is to cut the the bond paper into a square shape which I end up lots of waste. So, I find this more convenient as it's always ready and of course, in different attractive and brilliant colors! This size is just so ideal for the children. You don't need to color the paper but of course you will be needing a marker for the eyes and other designs that you want to add.It comes with a downloadable origami ebook which is very easy to understand and follow. My children actually love it and it's great during sleepover, camping, birthday parties and other kid's activities. If you are in the mood to be creative and you have time to watch origami videos you can make some fun creatures and flowers pretty easily. This paper is the perfect size for this craft. I made a jumping frog, butterfly and lotus-like flower. Some of the paper in this package is double sided and some single sided. I preferred using the double sided paper as I didn't have to figure out which side to start from. There are 25 colors, 20 sheets of each. It may take you some time to perfect this craft but once you learn a few easy designs you can make them more easily. Watching videos at youtube is really the way to go.
