Breathe Healthy Comfy Mask Elastic Head Strap Mask

I so really, really wanted to love this mask :(. In fact I NEEDED to love it as I have severe allergies and house cleaning to do and without wearing something I get extremely sick from the dust. I think the pattern is adorable and the design of the mask itself is very comfortable to wear. The problem is whatever is on the mask. The few times Ive worn it my skin, nose, mouth and throat felt like they were burning. Ive washed it thoroughly and the irritation still happens. It makes me scared to even put it on because I don’t know if I’m breathing in some unknown toxic particles or what. Im assuming it’s the antimicrobial coating they put in the fabric as I don’t know what else it could be. They say that whatever it is doesn’t leech or come off but its still a new technology and I think theres still possible unknown side effects. Ive never had a reaction quite like this to anything else before so I just don’t know what to think. I wish they had an option of coating or no coating cause I would buy one in an instant. I’m super sad that I won’t even be able to use it. Also to the people that were complaining about getting the wrong straps, its only the masks labeled “comfy” that are elastic. all of the rest are earloops style. So if you want the elastic straps just get the one with “comfy” in the title.

This mask as an odor to it that my wife found she could not tolerate. Since it is a "non-return" item she went ahead and washed it but that didn't help. She has asthma and is unable to use this mask.

I'm just starting to wear a mask in public for health reasons and germ control so I purchased this mask to give it a try. The mask is well made and looks like it will hold up. It does have 2 straps that go over your head which do interfere with eye glasses, hats, hair gel, earings etc. The inside liner pulls into your mouth between your lips when you inhale which concerns me for health reasons. The mask is warm which would help in northern winters however I live in the south and it's not working for me.

I thought when I wear this for gardening, or spray painting outside, I could still breath!!For me it gets hot inside this, and its still not easy to breath.Although I’m sure better then nothing. If I should spray a little black flag, I hold this mask close over my nose,and run, so I do not breath in any harsh sprays.If there is something better out there for sell, please let me know..

I purchase this for my daughter who has asthma. Elastic is way too small and cloth touches your mouth making it even more difficult to breath. Don't feel right returning since we all tried it on to see if it fit anyone in our family.

I'm not sure if it's a design flaw or if I just have a weird face, but the way the straps and the nose molding are placed, I can't get the mask to sit comfortably against my face without either pinching my nose or making my breath blow up into my eyes. The materials seem fine and in principle I like it but I just can't seem to get a good fit. YMMV.

Need it ask mask for my construction.Thought this product would be better than 3M 95N masks.Breathing is lot easier with this mask but after wearing it for few days, im getting lot of dust in my nose. Darn it.....

Good mask. Soft material. Doesn't irritate skin on face. Only taking away one star because of the way the loops are designed. They aren't ear loops. They go around the back of your head horizontally and they don't stay in place, causing the mask to fall down over time. I actually cut the loops and then sewed them back together as ear loops. Problem solved.
