Dear guys go for it .it is a nice concept but the quality needs lot of improvements.This was my second order as the first one was a failure of the product and returned to seller.I was convinced when I received the fresh order it is an excellent piece and is working amazingly.DO NOT DROP IT.If you do so its your luck to find it working.Seller "s response was very good in the deal and I say go for it its good for light and careful use for students as well. The ‘text writing’ part doesn’t work at all. When you use the Stylus, there is hardly anything readable on the screen. Totally worthless and waste of money. Seller doesn’t offer a refund (only replacement) else I would have returned. Not recommended at all.

Useful product, calculator works well, LCD writing pad is useful, except that the visibility is slightly dull, even though it does not have memory to store your writings, you can still view your writing until you erase it, so no worries there, handy product, light weight,

A very nice Product. A good Calculator that can be carried around in a handy manner with a built in case cover and LCD writing Pad. The calculator works as any good one found in the open market. The writing LCD Pad is not up to the mark. The visibility and the brightness is very poor and this needs to be worked upon for more bright output. The Screen erasing button works fine. The Stylus is good to use. The concept is Fantastic... but here the calculator does not count but the LCD and the writing part that makes this product unique. Lot of room is there to improvise on this. Hope you Xech Guys are noting this. The Price is bit on the higher side could have been much better if it was below Rs.500/- As always Thanks Amazon for getting this to my doorstep. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate it as 8.

Both the calculator and the e writer were defective and not working on receipt. A mail to support@xech.com for replacement/repair has still to be responded to. I also find that battery CR1120 is not available/obsolete.
