Easy to follow - Highly recommend!
I've had it for a few weeks now and I must say I recommend it.First off, they arrived on time, however, the box was pristine and well packed.Secondly, I bought a few different exam revision methods and I believe these are the best - you often find yourself learning and absorbing knowledge often without being aware as they can be great fun - they can make a fairly dull topic quite fun! They are also very easy to follow.Thirdly, the cards themselves are a perfect size and surprisingly durable! Finally, they are very easy to used and they are formatted well. There is a front card which explains how to use the cards. There are 63 colour coded cards and they are split out into 4 categories, plus a section on "Key Quotes". Each of the cards has a topic heading, followed by a few quick questions and then some more complicated "now try these" questions. In addition to that, there are also tips.Overall, good for the price - would highly recommend it.Please give this a 'helpful' if you found this review useful!

A review from a teacher and a student
I teach this, and my daughter is studying this for her GCSE so we got them as soon as they came out. They are a perfect aid for going alongside the book, and for revising when you are preparing for the exam. They contain five sections: analysis of acts, characters, context and themes, the writer's technique and key quotes. They are not board specific but the same skills are required for analysis whatever the board - my daughter finds that the key quotes really give her a high level insight into what to write in her practice essays. For the motivated student good use of these really has the potential to increase your grade - well written, motivating and totally recommended by both myself and my daughter.

Good amount for quick GCSE English Literature An Inspector Calls revision across any exam board
The revision cards are well-made, designed very nicely much like other CGP flash cards and cover a fair amount of key content for An Inspector Calls. It’s divided into 5 separate sections being: Analysis of Acts, Characters, Context and Themes, The Writer’s Techniques and Key Quotes. For the Analysis of Acts, there are 5 cards each for Act One & Two and 6 for Act Three. The scenes and key events covered on the flash cards loosely follow those mentioned in the CGP An Inspector Calls text guide and each topic is relevant, there’s also a summary card for each Act. For the Characters, it covers The Inspector (4 cards), Arthur Birling (2 cards), Sybil Birling (2 cards), Sheila Birling (2 cards), Eric Birling (2 cards), Gerald Croft (2 cards) and Eva Smith/Daisy Renton (2 cards). It covers all the main characters found in An Inspector Calls and mentions mostly everything you need. It would be nicer if there were more cards for every character other than the Inspector, if there were summary cards and if it included Edna. For Context and Themes, it covers everything you’ll see in the same section for the CGP An Inspector Calls text guide. This section goes over pretty much all the basics and is perfect for quick revision. For The Writer’s Technique, it covers stage work, dramatic techniques, Priestly’s use of language and language techniques. It, once again, follows the CGP An Inspector Calls text guide. It’s quite basic and should include more flash cards, but it serves its purpose. For Key Quotes, there are 16 of them. They’re all very good quotes but the cards don’t go into much detail as it can unfortunately. Overall, there are 63 cards and I recommend these flash cards only for quick revision.

Brilliant! A really useful starting point (++) for revision.
A great fun way to interact with your child (and for friends to test each other). A good basis for understanding what's going on. I found it best for us both to read the Act (or part of it) and then test using the questions. Hope there are other sets for other parts of the curriculum!

An Inspector Calls Revision Cards
These Revision Cards are ideal if you are studying GCSE English – An Inspector Calls (which my son is, this year). It is for the Grade 9-1 course and you can also buy a Text Guide and Workbook, which are both worth investing in.The cards are split into the Analysis of Acts, Characters, Context and Themes, The Writer’s Techniques and Key Quotes. Each card has quick questions, longer questions and exam tips. These are a useful resource for quick revision sessions and testing.
