I purchased this for an elderly friend: her dentist prescribed a special toothpaste that requires a solid two minute brushing. This egg timer is perfect - it has a SOLID base - won't tip over easily. Most egg timers are much smaller: this one seems rugged!

I did not time the grains so I don't know how "accurate" they are, but it's for games, so whatever the time is it will be the same for everyone. Sturdy construction.

I like this I actually use to pace my self between my exercise sets making sure to be back in next set before the minute has elapsed, this ups the intensity!

I wanted a simple timer for brushing my teeth that didn't involve my phone at night, and this has filled that gap!

In use this with my daughter. Accurate within a minute so that’s awesome! Sand is very fine so it’s hard to see falling but that’s ok.

This two minute timer is perfect for little ones learning to brush their own teeth, and I love that it comes in an array of colors so you can pick your child's favorite.
