Q: do these protect from humidity? Do they turn indoor speakers into outdoor speakers?

I use these for my outdoor speakers - do not use these for indoor speakers. They work great outside although my speaker location is mainly shaded. I have no problems with humidity but I use these mainly for rain to keep the speakers dry. I hope this helps.

Unfortunately they’re not.. sorry.

Q: Are these acoustically transparent, ie: will they affect sound quality if left on while listening?

These speaker covers use lighter material so sound will go through, although calling them acoustically transparent is a bit of a stretch. They will deteriorate sound quality to some degree for sure. It's also the reason we created the heavier material covers with Sound Flap - a front section that rolls up and allows the speaker to be played with the covers on. None of them. These covers are for outdoor mounted speakers with C-Brackets. Assuming the speaker your referring to is a powered speaker, none of these will fit. Thank you
