This is an awesome entry level cube. It does corner twist from time to time. This could be fixed by adjusting the screw tension a bit. Great value for money.

I found this model listed on a website recommending upgrades on rubicks cubes. The ones you get online or in a store often are made cheaply and not great to start off on. You CAN make it through and learn, but it's not going to be as enjoyable if you are trying to manipulate the cube using the algorithms that are recommended. I often had issues with the original rubicks cube I bought and after I got the cuberspeed I was able to enjoy and quickly solve the rubicks cube. This would be great for a gift as well.

I wish I had bought a magnetic cube (like this) sooner. There are a few good magnetic cubes on amazon besides this, all of them are very close. All much better than the non-magnetic options if you want to be fast.Update: This one has a flaw with the red and blue stickers... they start turning white around the sticker edges. Unfortunate. Still, I'm leaving it at 5 stars only because this has such top-notch handling when properly lubricated.

This is a great speed cube when you want to step up from the classic Rubik's cube and try magnets. Smooth, fast, and easy to use when cutting time. The only down side is the red stickers are starting to wear, as others noted - none of the other colors, though. Not as easy to put back together as some others if you take it apart. I'd suggest looking it up first.

The red color fades, its the only complaint thai I have about the cube. The other colors remained intact.
