The lozenge is the delivery method. Regular capsules you would swallow, but a lozenge is a flavored pill that you hold under your tongue or in your cheek (or just suck on it I suppose), to release the vitamin directly into your bloodstream bypassing your digestive acids which can otherwise hinder the potency of some vitamins such as b12, which is why people often will talk about b12 injections, but lozenges seem to work just about as well.
