My work shoes didn’t help with static. Bought this item and it’s been great with keeping me free from static shocks. Definitely recommend.

I started using a treadmill under my desk but began incurring a lot of static that I was discharging it on my laptop, desk electronics etc. I bought a bracelet as well as these but prefer these which I bought as a pair to wear and keep in my running shoes. So far works like a charm! No longer hesitant about touching electronics while on the treadmill.

Was advertised as being able to ground 1 trillion to 1 million volts concurrently from heel or heel calf to ground, then was changed to advertise 1,000 volts to ground which is not accurate as it was not properly tested. The product has no grade, it may or not have a 64V grade anti-shocking or shock absorb-ption. I believe the standard is a 14V to 8V stepdown if you know how to properly ground with a wrist strap which would add the manuvre to ground when installing or mounting electronics. Knowing where they produce the rubber plastic and silicone sheet padding is Another thing! IT IS A GRADE! and you would have to get it approved yourself!Oh and it doesn't prevent STDs!!!!

Good product for 5 bucks a peace. Would buy more at that price but seen that they went up so hard pass.

Would not purchase again, didn't fit well around tennis shoe and was bulky under the foot.

The media could not be loaded.  I've worn these all through winter in the snow out side with boots and almost all through summer on hot concrete with shoes. These fit over big boots but you might want to trim down the straps for shoes and the Grey cord as well. Remember these are sold as one so you have to buy 2 but if you work with shoes and boots I would buy four.

This seems to work - I haven't gotten a shock since I've been wearing it. It's easy to use and effective. I gave it 4 stars simply because I have to remember to remove it before I go outside (I wish I could find a wrist band that works but none have been as effective as this product.) The inconvenience of having to remove it and then put it back on is the only flaw. Otherwise, I'm glad I bought it, and it's so nice to get through a day without static!
