Book contains a fairly good selection of appettizers, desserts, drinks, and main courses. Several of the recipes appear to be pretty generic as they also show up in my other Indian cookbooks and much of the photography is stock. There are a few gems, however, and unlike my other cookbooks this one uses easier to find alternatives such as substituting peanut for mustard oil.If this is your first or second Indian cookbook you cannot go wrong, but if looking to expand your options maybe look elsewhere.

I learned more about culture as well as the recipes. It was quite the educational cookbook. The recipes are doable, the ingredients available, and substitutes readily suggested. Most of the recipes were in my skill reach, and the recipes written to be easily followed. Some Indian cookbooks lean toward one style or region over another. This one educated me on the different tastes of the different regions, and I really appreciate that. This is a nice gift book as well. The book is a quality publication.

I needed a recipe for an Indian dish I bring to a church potluck for our Indian priest. It had to be easy and something portable. There is so many options in this book and lots of pictures to show me what it should look like. Easy directions are also a bonus. Glad I bought this book

The product seems to have good recipes, but the paper’s quality is not what one expects at this price. You would expect glossy finished paper and it is not.

An amazing cookbook that goes further and teaches you about India too. Its important to know about the region and customs to truly appreciate the food.

This book checked all of the boxes for my favorite Indian food. I like how the recipes are written and how the ingredients are listed. The recipes are straightforward and not too complicated.

Great gift and good cookbook for Indian food gurus. Has lots of Indian staples and many recipes to choose from. Sticking point may be the availability for some Indian ingredients but majority of the recipes use readily-available ingredients
