What a great little wood slab. I make jewelry and have been starting to make ornaments to sell for the holiday season! These are a great size- I ordered the bigger of the two sizes!!! They are very uniform and the pre drilled hole and eye screws that came with it save so much time. They fit tightly, I am not worried about them pulling out easily!! Some of the slabs I was looking at have a hole drilled through the wood- but I like having the whole surface to work with! I was worried the bark would make a big mess as I was working, but very little of it comes off which is great!Super happy with this product.

10 wood slices (out of 30) cracked a day or so after i screwed in the hooks and decided to start painting them, causing the hooks to just fall out and not stay in anymore. 4 of the 30 came without a predrilled hole and i couldn’t screw a hook in. now that’s basically half of them that are unusable. i’m angry because this happened later and after i started trying to paint them. now i have to reconfigure everything. very disappointed and upset.

I am part of a few craft groups and I saw a bunch of different projects I loved using these wood slices. I ordered the 30pc 2.4"-2.8" and they are the perfect size for the hanging decor I want to make. They are sanded perfectly and very lightweight which nakes them a great choice for ornaments or wall hanging decor. Most other wood slices I found had holes pre-drilled in the face of them where these have a hole pre-drilled on the bark side and they include eye hooks for you to add a string as needed. I like that detail as it gives more space to add a design to the face of the wood. I will be ordering more once these are used.

These were the perfect size and quality for my use- I made personalized ornaments gift tags out of them. The wood color is very bright and consistent, she shape and size are consistent enough to be reliable but have enough variation to seem natural. The surface was very smooth and could be painted on or written on very easily- even with pen. The bark didn’t come off in chunks, which I was worried about. I did not use the included hooks or strings, but they seemed to be good quality. The wood has very small pre drilled holes for the hooks which I didn’t notice until I searched for them.

Exactly what they say they are, a tiny slice of wood. Most were on the smaller size of the size range. I ended up buying some that were a little larger to meet my needs of making ornaments with photo transfers . I also prefer ones with a hole already drilled in them for a string. Even so, I knew what I was buying, so that’s on me. My granddaughter uses them in her natural block building collection and enjoys them.

These are a great value and the little hooks look nice, but I noticed a lot of the slices were starting to split where the hooks went in. This can be remedied somewhat by screwing the screw into another part of the slice, but you will still have a crack on that part. I was choosing between this another one that had a predrilled hole to put the string through and I think I would have been better off with the other one.

I like that they are sliced thin and have a relatively smooth surface. They come with jute string two colors, natural and orange white striped. They also come with a small metal looped screw for easy hanging. I had the for three days, did a project for my class. I made ornaments with vinyl cut silhouettes, no heat, glue or apoxy just the vinyl. The ornaments are sitting on my desk and I hear this popping/snapping sound coming from the wood slices. I made 18 of these ornaments and 6 of them split. I uploaded two pictures. One to show the finished product and the other to show the wood split. Many of the sliced split at the pre-drilled area. Very disappointing. They are not pretreated, just natural wood.

I bought a couple different wood slices but these were my favorite. They were nice and big compared to the rest of the brands I bought..they looked more realistic than the others and I like how they don't have a hole in them but I was able to drill a hole if I wanted one without problems...well one problem drilling is sometimes they would Crack but again you can buy wood slices with predrilled holes so that is not an issue with the slices themselves
