It didn’t work!
Such a shame but the item did not work. I was unable to use the item. Computer did not even acknowledge the usb was plugged in. Yes I checked the usb ports, other things were recognised. Oh well!!

Now we see what customer service means!
The product arrived, plugged it in and it blew the fuse in my power supply cable. Replaced cable, plugged it in and it blew the fuse in the fresh power supply cable. Now I have two fuses to buy and a device I cannot use. How this goes forward depends on how the supplier reacts. We all have bad days, things can go wrong but the value of a supplier is judged by their customer service at the point of a problem. If they can correct this then I amend my rating. If they can't but refund me then I can amend my rating a bit. If they do nothing and ignore me .... well that's a YouTube moment with links!

Can I use a FireWire to USB adapter to connect my FireWire interface?No, it is not possible to connect a FireWire interface to your computer's USB port via a FireWire to USB adapter since this connection is not sufficient to run a FireWire audio interface.If your computer does not have a built-in FireWire port you should check if it has a PCI or PCIe slot (desktop computer), or a PCMCIA or ExpressCard slot (laptop computer).
