Not what you're expecting
From the price, title, and promo blurb I expected something like an excerpt from one of the Inklings (or related literary figures (because Chesterton and Macdonald are awesome too)) as a daily reading for Advent. I've got this CS lewis book https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01GCCXPY2like that for Lent that I really like. This is actually brief biographies of the notable people then the daily readings are a quote from one of the inklings , a few paragraphs of pretty average devotional musing from, I'm assuming, William Murdock. And then a couple brief scripture readings.Overall (granted I'm only 2 days into it), it seems a very average devotional trying to trade on the name of the Inklings with the most tenuous of connections. I don't know that it's bad compared to all the other devotionals out there, but my expectations were definitely disappointed.

not much of the Inklings
I should have read the reviews. This book has brief quotes from the Inklings at the beginning of what seem to be mediocre reflections. Disappointed. Don't recommend

Nope
Poorly written garbage. Self published vanity project. Don’t waste your time.
