Mehru Lip Stain, Natural, All-day, Long Lasting Lip Tint - Mauve Melon

This is such a natural looking red with a hint of brownish/pink. It's hard to describe, but for a pepped up natural color I love this. The new tubes with the brush they offer are fantastic compared to the older model with the bottle. Mehru is my favorite lip stain as it lasts a looong time and I even wear gloss over it, and when it fades, it fades evenly and just becomes a lighter, pretty tint on your lips. I have Mehru lip stain in many colors and use them very frequently.

I have to apply this product way too often for my taste. It looks nice if you don't mind applying the product 7 times a day.

Terrible. It has so much alcohol that it burns my lips. I only put it on once.

Lies. It does not last all day. It doesn't even last as long as regular cheap lipstick. I would not recommend.

Just to clarify, I didn't buy this in Amazon. I bought this through ebay but just wanted to give my two cents to the Amazon Community.COLORThis color is one of my favorite of all my lip tints. It's very dark and slightly purple/black. When you apply it, it gives you this "emo" look, but just to clarify emo is not my style. But this color gives you that kind of attitude and vibe. It's very hip and out of all my lip tints, I apply this one the most.QUANTITYA little goes a very very long way. You do not need to apply a lot to get a very rich color on your lips. I am still on my first stick that I bought over a year ago.STAYING POWERThe staying power of this one I have to say is less than the Tony Moly brand. But it's better than others that I've tried. I'd say it stays on for like 3-4 hours.SCENTI can't place my finger on what this scent is.... it's smells like floral hair dye almost. It's not bad but it's not a nice fragrance either.TEXTUREThe texture is a thick kind of paste. The nice part about this is you can kind of rub it around and move it on your lips and adjust. My other favorite lip tint is very watery and so you can't really adjust that much. So in that sense you get a little more control with Mehru.SIDE EFFECTSThis does make my lips tingle unfortunately, but I love this product so much I disregard the tingles. The other side effect is this does dry out your lips, so make sure you use lip balm or lip gloss on top to help with that.

Really great color! I do have to apply it more often than the Sunset Mehru Lip Stain, but it is such a gorgeous color, it is worth it.
