Get Canon or Nothing
This printer and inks are produce the absolute best prints you can get at home. I look at the prints people get from local drug stores and online and I wish I could tell them, I can do that, at home, at almost no cost.

Great ink but too expensive
This is a great photo-quality ink, but - like all other OEM inks - it's far too expensive. It gets my 5-stars simply because all the high quality photo printer manufacturers do the same thing with the high prices for their inks.

Consistent quality and long life... pricey though
Excellent inks for PRO 1000. Pricey of course but if you try some tricks with ink managment the cost per print is reasonable. Afraid to use aftermarket non oem inks as I have an etended warranty. May consider those later but need same consistency and life as factory inks and worried it may be a bad rabbit hole to go down.

Great ink, used in a great printer but a little high in price for the amount of prints I get out each cartridge.
