Perfect height, solidly built
This is the perfect height to use for deadlifts. I’m still a lightweight so with smaller plates, it’s a squat and deadlift to get the barbell off the ground… until I bought this! It’s also nice to use to rest my plated dumbbell on one of the stands as I’m changing the weight plates on it.

Heavy duty
I've used this to attach an axle bar to my cable machine as well. Great accessories!

Works well, just wish it wasn't metal-on-metal for the screw tightener
This does pretty well at keeping your barbell locked on. My one annoyance is that its screw tightener doesn't have a plastic or rubber protective cap, so if you torque it on hard, it will mark your barbell and you'll end up with rough spots sliding plates on and off. You can address this by just not using the tightener at all; I just use conventional safety clips to hold these in place. The primary application for this is to attach chains to your barbell so that as you lift the chain links off of the ground, you're increasing the weight you're lifting. I'm using it differently - the hooks will also work to connect a barbell to a cable cross machine so that it can pull up, providing my 7yo daughter with some assistance lifting a bar that's otherwise too heavy for her. Thus I don't have to buy special childrens' sized weight sets; I can use the cable cross to subtract 20lbs from a 45lb bar and she can do exercises more or less normally.

Works as advertised
Got this for my home gym for loading a barbell for hip thrusts and deadlifts. Does what it is supposed to do, and seems well made. Good value, glad I got it.

Exactly what you want if you want to add chains do your work out.
These are a simple tool to add extra weight to your workouts. I’ve hung tow chains off of them and they seem to be holding up just fine. I don’t know if I would put 100 pounds on the end of them but they work fine for 40 or so.
