This is a good product and suited my situation perfectly.

This unit is made from metal, the 3 core mains supply cable has no Earth connection at the equipment end. The other connections are made by simply twisting the wires together and slipping a piece of tube (not heat shrink) over them. There is no cable strain relief and whilst there is a rubber grommet on the hole you can see from the outside, there's no grommet on the hole you can't see from the outside. This hole is a sharp edged punched hole through thin plate steel, ideal for slicing insulation. Especially in equipment like a fan, which vibrates.In short, this shouldn't be offered for sale in the UK. One tug on the mains wire and you've live conductors touching the metal body with no protective Earth. A recipe for disaster.If you have one in use I would stop using it before it gives someone a shock or causes a fire.Zero stars isn't allowed, so one star given.
