RoseMyst Professional Glove for Hair Styling - for Hair Iron and, Black, Size L

This RoseMyst heat resistant glove fits like a charm. I don't have small hands but they definitely are not manly and this glove fits perfect. It's not loose at all so I can comfortably grab smaller pieces of hair when I use my wand. With the glove that came with my wand, it was loose once I got it over my hand. That material just lost its tightness. This glove remains tight for good grip. It's used with either hand so when I use it on my left side I'll keep it on my left hand wrapping my hair around my wand. Then when i move to the eighth side, I can switch my glove to my right hand without a problem and I don't have to fight with my want to try and not burn my forearm, witch I have a scar to prove that's happened! These gloves are heat resistant so you will feel some heat. They are not meant as an oven mit. So yes, you will feel heat but it's not enough to cause a burn in my opinion. So if you don't like your current glove that comes with your wand or you've lost it, this glove is a great alturnitive and at a great price. I really hope my review will help you with your purchase. Pleasantly surprised at how well the bubbled areas protect from heat! I had my curling wand set at 400° and could hold my hair in place at the skinny end of the barrel with the pads of my fingers. I have big hands, but these stretched to accommodate them without giving me webbed fingers. It seems like they would fit smaller hands, too, just without as much stretching. The material and elastic cuffs are comfortable, not itchy or cumbersome.The only thing that could be improved is the thumb. Because the gloves are made flat and the human thumb is rotated slightly, the pad of the thumb is only partially covered with the insulating dots. I twisted the thumb material so it covered the right place, but before long it had gone back to the original position, which of course I found out by the burning sensation. A few more dots on the inner edge of the thumb would make the difference between four stars and five.

I had recently purchased a Ceramic Hair straightening brush (Little Black HairBrush) that did not come with a glove so I wanted to try this out and see how well it really helped protect from the heat. Using a glove is different than I am used to. I have always straightened my hair the old fashioned way with a flat iron and just dealing with hot hair and burns. This one is thicker than the one that comes with the RoseMyst brush set. The thickness does give it a higher heat tolerance I think but makes it a bit more difficult to section out and grab.This may just take some getting used to on my part. Over all I think it is a great addition to any heat styling needs especially for the curling wands and such where you are risking direct contact with the heating element.I received this at a discount or at no cost for my review and feedback, however my opinion is 100% my own, honest and uninfluenced in any way.

I ordered this for my teenage daughter after she burnt her hand while curling her hair. It fits well. It keeps her hand safe from burns, but she says she can still feel the heat from the appliance. But as long as she isn't getting burned anymore, we're happy. Her hand is medium sized. The glove does stretch some, but overall it fits well on her. It fit my large hands, too, but it was a little tight.

Funniest thing happened. I put the glove on and said to myself that it really looks like one of those shedding gloves for pets. I used it on my cat and WOW!You guys marketed this product all wrong. This is the best shedding glove for cats that I've ever used! My cat HATES being brushed, but she's long haired and needed to be brushed badly. She was purring like crazy after a few strokes and I got a ton of loose hair off her.By the way, shedding gloves cost 3× as much as this did. So, THANKS!

These little gloves do what they need to- protect your hand as you curl your hair using a curling wand. Obviously, like all the other styling gloves, it is heat RESISTANT and not heat-proof, so you can't hold your gloved finger on the hot wand for long. It's just meant to protect you from burning yourself if you touch the wand accidentally. I touch my curled hair to the wand with my gloved pointer and middle finger, but try not to touch my gloved fingers directly onto the hot wand. When I do, I'm never burned, thanks to this great product. It's nothing fancy, but just what you need for around five bucks.

I bought this heat resistant glove to keep from burning my hands when I straighten or curl my hair. You can feel some heat, but it did not burn me and I had the straight iron up to 450 and put my hands on the iron. I could also use it on either hand, which is handy!

After reading the reviews of this glove, I decided to buy one, as I was tired of burning my fingers curling my hair with a flat iron. I'm so glad I did buy this glove because it is awesome!.. Unlike some reviews I've read, I don't feel any heat at all!..I use it all the time now, and I'm very satisfied and happy with it!..I recommend this to anyone that uses a flat iron or curling iron!..It works!!!!..In fact I ordered another one for the other hand as I was burning the ungloved hand also..lol
