Does what I needed
Bought for the camper - kitchen is in the rear so fridge things get the most "action". This nestles the eggs securely (especially if you put them wide end down) and there's no chance of the "carton" opening. Also takes up less space than my other one. Very satisfied - would buy again.

Very sturdy and durable but... but... but...
Very strong and accommodates jumbo eggs but you'll need to put a piece of foam in the lid to secure the eggs during transport. This 12 egg container is model HPL954 but if you want the 18 egg version HPL955 then it will be less expensive to get the StarFrit branded version instead of the OEM version. All three are by the same manufacturer.
