WestinghouseLighting Corp 13-Inch Round Glass Diffuser (2 Pack)

I've gone for years without a glass shade over the ceiling fixture in my office. Finally, I got around to buying a glass shade and now the lighting is so much better. Minus one star because the UPC label was attached directly to the glass and was difficult to remove. Also, this does not come with the finial to attach secure the shade to the fixture.

I was looking for something a little more "modern", in order to keep the low-profile light fixture in our low ceiling at our cabin. This worked just fine. However, please SAVE THE ATTACHMENT screw. This does not come with the nut assembly to attach it to the long screw coming from the ceiling fixture. I had thrown mine away in a box with the old fixture, but fortunately I was able to retrieve it before it his the dumpster. I also would suggest watching the price fluctuation. Currently it lists 7 Price Changes. I paid $21 and now it is selling for $13. I saw a post where somebody said they only paid $9.00.

Nice 13" diffuser, fits perfectly on our 12" inch ceiling light. But I had to try two others in an attempt to get the depth right. This is only slightly curved and fits perfectly. Lost a star because it would have been nice if it had come with the knob/bolt needed to install it.

This is a basic 13-inch Round Glass Diffuser, nothing too special about it. It has a white film (silkscreen?) on the side that faces the ceiling, which has clear dots in a typical grid like pattern. Bought this so I could paint it with glass paints to look like the sun and put in my son's room, where I did a solar system theme on the ceiling. Only disappointment is that I wish that it was deeper as you can still see the fixture on the ceiling. I was hoping that being 13" would keep this from happening, but it did not.

Replaced a broken one from kids tossing a ball. It serves it's purpose. The dots look pretty cool on it. Probably looks better on vaulted ceilings like mine. Glad I had a nut around the house as it does not come with one, but it serves it's purpose and looks decent.

The item works great. Simple and easy. My only complaint is the way the item was packaged - it was just in the box with a few of the air pillows, but it had a lot of wiggle room. Thankfully, it was not damaged.

I read the dimensions when I ordered but did not do a good job of measuring the item I was replacing. Turns out this new light diffuser is only 12" diameter. The one I replaced was 14.5. I am shocked to see what a huge difference that 2.5 inches makes. Although the new one is much better from a light point of view, not having the heavy gold markings my old one did, it kind of looks like a baby mushroom up there. This office is very small and the new unit still looks ridiculous up there. Although I had looked around quite a bit, I wish I had waited to find something bigger. Oh well!

Seemingly identical to the original one in our nearly 50 year old house. When I managed to drop and break the old one, this nicely took its place.
