The MGM Story: The Complete History of Sixty-Five Roaring Years Hardcover – April 29, 1990

I owned a copy of this book for many years but it disappeared from my bookcase at some point in the last 10 years and I have been trying to work out who I lent it to that has not returned it. I was pleased to be able to get this used copy at a reasonable price. It was slightly more well-worn than my old one but not in bad condition. I have enjoyed looking at it again and it is good to have a copy on my bookshelf again. If you are interested in the history of 20th century cinema this book is a must. Full of excellent stills from MGM movies over the life of the studio it has some wonderful pictures of so many stars in their heydays. A real treat for movie buffs. Not too much text - the pictures tell the story.
