We have pretty rocky ground here, so I was a bit skeptical, but these things are strong! A few of them DID bend a bit, but that was after I wailed on them pretty good with a hammer after hitting some pretty firm rock. But most of them were able to push through the clay and rock. I was impressed! And our chickens are now safer from predators digging under their coop. I can't imagine any similar product being any better than this.

I'm so tired of staples that bend at the least contact with a rock in the garden. My garden is in its second year and a lot of rocks have been removed, but with more to go! I decided to use an agricultural fabric to cover the entire prepared garden area this year. Hence the need for staples. Bendy, ineffective staples! But These staples are so strong I was completely impressed upon opening the package. The ends are sharp, the staples are strong. I'll be using some tomorrow and actually look forward to it.

I bought these to pin down a fake lawn. These staples went through decomposed granite just fine. They could not penetrate the underlying crushed rock. Yes, they bent on the crushed rock like the standard staples do on hard ground. The good news is that they are much better than the sstandard staples available every where else. Significantly stronger and easier to drive. I'd buy them again.

ok, like most people, we bought landscape staples from the local hardware big box stores..and were frustrated at the wimpy bendable staple as it would hit even the smallest of rock..these staples are just as stated, heavy duty and long enough to get in the ground and keep your landscape material where you place it without bending...have ordered 3 boxes so far..We Appreciate their quality and will continue ordering more as needed.

I. love the thick, heavy duty quality. However these staples do rust a lot after a few waterings (within 2 weeks).

These were sturdy and exactly what I needed to secure the new 1” drip line tubing in our backyard berm (secured over 50 ft in length and wrapped around various trees and shrubs). Shockingly all I could find locally at the big box stores were flimsy staples, so I wasn’t sure these would work. So I was pleasantly surprised at how perfect these were.

Soil in our area of Arizona is pretty tight, these staples penetrated it without a lot of waste due to bending. Much better than those made of lighter gauge metal.
