Love my Cubes
I purchased my cubes to hold and organize yarn. My husband had zero issues putting it together. The price is perfect for what you get. All my pieces were in the box with a few extra connectors and door latches. It’s perfect for what I need. Once put together it’s pretty stable. My husband did have to squeeze it every row bc the connectors wiggle a bit while you are moving and shaking it during construction. The vinyl is decent quality, not too thick but strong enough for holding yarn. I would imagine it would be great for clothes or shoe organizing as well. I think it looks great. I did not take the time to lay out the doors to make a pattern, I like the randomness of the swirls.I highly recommend this product for lightweight items. My sister even purchased one for her closet after seeing mine. I will be buying again when I need to expand my yarn wall. The nice part about this product is you can build it how you want and add or remove as many cubes as you want.

You'll probably want to read the instructions.
You might just open the box and dive in, thinking you've been building these things for years and this one's no different. You would, of course, be wrong. :DThe connectors *have to be* oriented so that you can read them. Ironically, I had the thought while I was building it that I should put them all in with the logos upright. And then I thought, 'No, don't be extra. You're never going to see them enough to care anyway.' Ha. Funny story. You're also supposed to install the doors at the end of each row, rather than building the whole unit first. Fortunately, the doors CAN be added last; it's just more of a pain to do so. So if you finish building it and then see that adding the doors was Step 8, you're not completely SOL. Keep calm and carry on.All in all, it's not the best quality cube shelf that I've built. It just doesn't seem as sturdy as others, and some of the connection points pop out while you're pushing others in. But for $50ish (16 cubes with doors), it's not bad for the price. The doors are somehow both over-and under-engineered at the same time. The kit includes door latching clips, but I can't get them to work. They either don't line up right and don't latch, or they latch too tightly to open conveniently. There's some vertical play in the doors and I assume you're supposed to slightly lift them off the latches to open, but it's finicky at best. Some of the doors lift smoothly and others are kind of grind-y. I fought for a while trying to get the little clips just right, and then I just gave up. It seems like a tab at the bottom of the door that could be lifted and lowered into the connector below would have been more efficient, but here we are.I bought the unit to store yarn, keep dog hair out of it, and get it out of my closet, and I think it will be fine for its purpose. So far, the doors are staying closed on their own, and if they don't, I'll try making a tab with a cut-off cable tie or something. It works. It was a decent price. It could be better, but it could definitely be worse.

Yarn storage
I love these cubes❣️ It was a learning curve putting them together, but once I figured it out they assembled quickly. I bought my first 16 combination in May, assembled them and took a trip (for a month) before I finished loading my yarn; I ordered a second unit before I returned home. I filled the first one and nearly the second when I realized this wouldn't be enough. So I ordered an 8 cube one. They were easy enough to add 4 to each unit, my only issue was the new set didn't have the swirls on the side and bottom pieces (I made sure the doors did). Easy enough to remedy but time consuming. I removed the sides and one top piece on each; the new set had solid black pieces. So it's possible to disassemble and reassemble with relative ease. Still not enough storage but I don't have room for more. Now I have to bring the rest of my yarn to my new place.

Not good quality.
It's not that sturdy, one of the pieces that clicks one of the little doors shut broke off. Very disappointed by the quality of the product considering the price.

It’s ok, not a wow factor
It’s good for shoes. The only downfall I have with this product, the doors won’t stay shut or it’s hard to open. Also, it would help if you can establish a solid bottom with wheels. Moving this thing is crazy

Better than expected
Cute! Super easy to put together. Fairly sturdy, and decent storage capacity in each cube. Some of the doors didn't line up perfectly, but they still open and snap closed just fine. Seems to hold a lot! Happy with purchase overall.
