Pearington commercial seating products are perfect for the classroom, dorm room, home and the office. This set of 5 stools is a great flexible seating option, and stack easily for convenient storage and placement. These stools are lightweight making them easy to carry and transport around the room. The stools are stylish and colored neutrally in black and silver making them fit well in background setting. Stools are not meant to be rocked back and forth and are recommended for kids in 1st through 6th grade. The stools are made of 16-gauge steel for quality durable construction and have a weight capacity of 300 lbs. They measure 18"H with seat diameter 11.75".

Very cheap legs.
I bought these stools for my classroom. 2 of the 5 have already broken. I had previously purchased Norwood Commercial Furniture NOR-STOOLBS-SO Plastic Stack Stool, 17 3/4" Height, 11 3/4" Width, 11 3/4 " Length. The legs on the pearington are so thin and bend when even a 50-pound person sits on them. I would recommend Norwood over these.

Original review + update
Fast delivery and, to my surprise, the stools were already assembled. I assumed I would have to put them together. They are light weight and packaged nicely, they stack. They seem to hold weight, maybe, up to about 170 pounds. I will update if these do not hold up in my classroom of middle school students.UPDATE:LEGS ARE EASILY BENT, ANY SLIGHT MOVEMENT OR ROCKING AND THE LEGS WILL BEND AND BREAK. Not sturdy, doubt they will last the school year, one already broken after less than a month. Disappointing.

ONE BENT THEN BROKE OUT OF THE BOX!!
I am very disappointed in these stools. I purchased them for my classroom of 3rd graders. After just 2 weeks, we have 2 that are broken. The first stool bent the day we took it out of the box. I would not recommend these stools. We have other stools from a different company that have held up nearly two years. I will definitely NEVER purchase again!!

Taller than desk seats; not very sturdy
One of these was cracked when it arrived. The man who added a wooden piece to repair it for me said these stools are not going to last long. They are also taller than I wanted (hard to tell until you see kids in them how tall you want them). I wish I had selected the shorter ones for my middle schoolers so they weren’t towering over the other kids in the rug in our meeting area. The colors are nice, and after a couple months of use, no more have broken. Hoping for the best.

Poor Quality Stools.
I have had these stools in my classroom for a little over a month now, two of them have broken to the point of not being able to use them. A leg has snapped off of each stool. The metal just broke and a leg came off. The students sitting on these stools are 4th graders...they don't weigh a lot. It is surprising and disappointing. If I would have known these stools are such poor quality, I would have purchased them for much cheaper at Ikea.

Poor construction
I bought these stools for a small group table in my 3rd grade classroom. They look nice and are easy to stack and store out of the way if needed. They were preassembled when I got them, but everyday at least 2 or more of the 4 screws holding the legs on comes out. I would not recommend buying them. I was unable to return them because I purchased over the summer and the return window closed before school started.

Not sturdy, legs bent easily
I really wanted to like these as the price was great for the amount of stools included. I purchased these for my classroom, however they did not last long at all. The legs are not sturdy at all and bend very easily. I had 2 break within a month of having them (and yes I monitor my 4th grade students who sit at the stools table in our classroom). Very disappointed they didn’t even make it through half of the school year. Would not buy again.

Flimsy Junk!
I was disappointed in the cheap, flimsy, and light weight construction. I bought these stools for my 5th grade classroom, but they are not meant for kids of this size. Perhaps they would be better for lower grades. I'm already down two stools after only having them a month. The legs bent and snapped.
