I wanted a battery that lasted longer than the 30 min batteries that were shipped with the outdoor tools. These are perfect. I bought two so there would always be one charging while I was using the other. They last longer and fit well. They are not too heavy and I can finally take care of the yard and not have to wait for batteries to finish charging.

One of the batteries will not take a full charge. It gets to a 3 out of 4 bars then the charger starts flashing I ran the battery down and recharged it. It did the same thing. The rest of my order was fine.

Fully charged this lasts about 15 minutes. I have a Ryobi lawnmower that I use with 40V 5.0 Ah genuine Ryobi batteries. They usually last about 30 minutes each - depending on the grass height and moisture in the grass. This battery is 40V 6.0 Ah which would seem to indicate that it would last longer not less? It's true that the genuine Ryobi batteries are more expensive but are worth it if they last longer and I don't have the hassle of more frequently changing them out.

IUse it in a leaf blower and so far it has worked perfectly and seems to have a long life, totally satisfied at this point.

I purchased these as replacements for my aging OEM batteries that came with my mower and weedeater I purchased in 2016. One of the OEM 2.5Ah batteries was losing capacity. These batteries worked well for almost a year and then one of them began having issues on the charger where it'd charge to ~75% and then the red light would start flashing on the charger. Sometimes reseating it would fix the issue, but eventually it'd start flashing at 50%. The battery still worked though, but just provided that amount of life (40-60%) and the other battery totally died and does not show any lights on the charge indicator on the unit itself, nor will the chargers (either, I have 2) charge it.Overall I've got 1/2 of a battery for the price of 2 after a year, so I would not recommend this to anyone as a replacement. All 3 of my OEM batteries are still in the same state they were last year when I bought these replacements; 2.0Ah = fine, 2.5Ah = fine, 2.5Ah = ~75% capacity. They have seen equal use over the last year as I was sorta hoping for the 2.5Ah one with reduced capacity to die so I could harvest the cells out of it, but seems I'm going to be taking them out of this replacement first instead.

The batteries came charged and I was so thankful I was built to use one battery and it weed eat all the way around my fencing.

These batteries are an imperfect fit for my string trimmer - although I always hear the “click” when I load them, they frequently lose connection with the trimmer - so power kicks off during operation and I have to remove and reseat the batteries. Also, the life of these batteries is short compared to the genuine Black and Decker battery - the original last between fifteen and twenty minutes when fully charged, whereas these spares only give me about ten minutes of work time when fully charged. They are okay backups, but not nearly as good as the original.
