TwinLuxe Booster Serum

I was very skeptical of this product due to the price, but after reading exhaustive reviews on various shaving sites, I decided to try it out.It's definitely more slick and much lighter than pre-shave oil. Won't gum up your razor and the application system pumps out the perfect amount every time. Very light, refreshing scent that won't interfere with your after shave / cologne (post-shave application.) Skin is left soft and supple. If using it for pre & post-shave applications, for three times a week (how often I shave), it should last about 4 months. I still find it expensive, but it's a luxury item, and I can't deny how well it works.

Husband loves this product. It works great as a base layer for the shaving cream. It helps give him a super close shave leaving his skin soft and kissable for the kids :)

serum just work on your skins. Even my wife said it smells good.I am a 40s year old chinese men in Singapore, leaving in hot weather most of the time. Buy their product !

I have very sensitive skin and need to order most of my shaving products online.I've experimented with different products over the years and I've mostly settled on using a pre-shave oil and some nice shaving cream from e-Shave. I've never really been happy with the pre-shave oils they are oily (as the name implies) and they typically contain mixtures of more than one oil or fragrence. If I don't wash the oil off with something like clearasil my skin will break out by the end of the day.On a whim I ordered a sample of the Twin Luxe booster serum because I was intrigued by the idea of a pre-shave item that contained no oils. After a 4 day weekend with no shaving at all, I grabbed the sample, pumped 2x (which got out most of what was in the sample) and I was able to use this small amount of serum to coat all of my stubble. Had this been pre-shave oil I would have had to use 2x to 3x the amount to coat the stubble.When I picked up my gillette fusion and began to shave I could immediately tell that the serum provided better lubrication than a pre-shave oil (but we don't use pre-shave oils to lubricate really...we are trying to actually protect the skin with them). After a few passes and shave cream applications I finished my shave, splashed some cold water on my face and was very impressed.The resulting shave was the best I've had in years...it was close, there was no oil that I needed to wash off, the serum left my face moisturized with out the need for application of additional moisturizer. And above all the product did not in anyway irritate my skin.After a long internal battle I broke down and ordered more. I will acknowledge the serum is very expensive especially in comparison to pre-shave oils but you use much less serum than you do pre-shave oil and the results in my opinion were worth the additional cost.
