Makes the AIP diet much easier - and it introduced me to so many new ingredients!
I have Hashimoto’s and I’ve been struggling with inflammation, despite eating a strict GF/DF diet. My doctor recommended the AIP diet, and it looked pretty daunting at first. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to enjoy cooking or eating anything. Then I found this book, and it’s made the AIP diet SO much easier!Before you start, just know that it requires a decent amount of food prep - but once you get into a routine, it’s not too bad. I can’t say every recipe is a banger, but most of them are really good. I plan to keep several of them in my regular meal rotation once I’m finished with the elimination diet.Another thing I love about the book is how many ingredients I’d never thought to combine (or had just never used before)! Beet & cauliflower smoothie? Surprisingly delicious. Tiger nut flour? I’d never heard of it, and it’s actually pretty good.I’ve learned a ton from this book. I would recommend it to anyone who’s serious about trying an elimination diet or even just looking for simple paleo anti-inflammatory recipes.

Very informative
Thought the book explained the thyroid condition in a manner I could understand. Thought the recipes were great & can’t wait to try them.

Exciting Recipes
This book gives clear instructions and not too much science. It gives delicious recipes which are achievable by the home cook and distils lots of recent knowledge into a seemingly intractable condition

Handy AIP cookbook aimed specifically at thyroid healing
Cookbook arrived in good time and as described. It comes highly recommended by many people in the Autoimmune Protocol support groups I'm in, and I would recommend it too. Clearly set out, easy to follow. Apart from the cover and a full page photo at the beginning of each chapter there are no photos for most of the recipes; I don't mind that but some people prefer pics so just mentioning it. For me, fewer photos means more recipes and more space for a clearer presentation, plus a slightly smaller book that's easier to take with you if you want to. It's not as small as the Sheet Pan AIP book (which I also like) but more recipes and naturally a wider variety of ideas because it's not all sheet pan, though there is a sheet pan recipe in it :) Easy to read and understand introductory section containing useful information. Very happy to have a thyroid specific AIP cookbook. Thank you Emily and Phil Kyle.

Very informative
Haven’t used the book yet. I’ve had it for a few months, the recipes sound amazing. Minus the sweet potato.... who actually likes sweet potato... not me. I love have detailed the author was with her information and how she wants to help as many people as she can.
