I am fairly new at quilting and I really like this book. I have made two quilts from this book so far. The instructions are easy to follow and the pictures also help

I have always wanted to quilt and this book is very easy to follow. I plan to begin as soon as possible. Great purchase.

I purchased this book for a friend who was anxious to get into quilting. She had previous sewing experience but had never been exposed to quilting. I convinced her to attend a quilt show with me and she was fascinated with the scope of patterns. When I showed her how to look at a pattern and "see" the construction of each block she was hooked on wanting to learn this new skill. When I presented her with the book and a small set of basic quilting tools we sat together looking over the book and discussing the uses of the tools. While I'm not a seasoned quilter I was impressed with the topics and explanations of techniques in this book. They were simple to follow and basic enough not to overwhelm a new quilter. I would highly recommend this book.

I loved the way the author did not assume I knew anything (because I didn't) about quilting. The book is organized in sections that you can easily follow from beginning (fabric) to all the end steps needed to make a quilt. Even small details "If you go wrong here...this is what you do". I would HIGHLY recommend this book for anyone interested in quilting. This will get you through the basics from initial fabric purchasing to putting the quilt together and everything in between.

I am just learning to quilt. This book was suggested so I bought it. I love it. So many tips and term explanations. Would be a great gift.
