Ideapro Baking Food torch, Refillable Butane Kitchen Torch Lighter Culinary Blow Torch with Security Lock and Adjustable Flame for Creme Brulee, BBQ, Desserts, Baking and Welding

I use this torch primarily for popping bubbles in epoxy resin when I make glittered tumblers. It was easy to fill with butane (arrives empty), and works like a charm. I like that it's lightweight and has a sturdy base to stand it upright on my work table. It has not failed to light, so I'm very pleased with the purchase. The cost was much less than others I researched, as well. I would definitely recommend it.

SUMMARY:You don’t get a lot of features but all the once’s you get are essential, making it simple to use.I’ve purchased a few types of torches for the purposes of arts and crafts to burning weeds to making deserts.I’ve tried several different types but this one is the best one I’ve used. It’s small and activating the torch is a simple push of a button. It’s a nice safety feature too because you have to push with enough intentional force to let the gas/fire through. It’s light and difficult to accidentally turn it on. After several uses across several weeks it still has gas and haven’t dried out like others I’ve tried.The heat is narrow but there’s a good range of intensity - you just have to watch the distance.Another nice feature is that it can stand without needing a separate “stand”.PROS:Fits easily in the hand. Button to ac to bate the flame is a simple push. The pressure needed seem “enough” where it won’t turn on accidentally.Gas seems to be last long - does not quickly evaporate like some other brands.Feels safe.CONS:Feels “cheap”. Plasticky like cheap kids toys.I highly recommend this torch. Size is perfect if you just need to heat or burn small areas at a time. Flame is narrow and intense but the intensity [to the object] is easily controlled by controlling the distance and length of time. I use it for arts and crafts, heating, flaming food and starting fires.

Bought this for dabs and it serves my needs well. It is cheaply made, but does have a fairly decent quality to it and seems like it will hold up well for light use. I’m happy that the trigger can be rotated to prevent unintended use. It can also be rotated after lighting to lock it in the ON position. The flame adjustment is rather temperamental — turning all the way down prevents it from lighting. Also sometimes it will not light after using the flame adjustment, and I will have to wiggle it around or click to the next setting to get it to light. Overall, pleased with it for what I paid. You will be happy with it if you understand that it is an inexpensive, basic item. Recommended.

when I read the box, it said to " use acceptable butane gas, otherwise it might break the lighter" but it does not specify what acceptable is. was bummed that I was unable to use it immediately. also, the description was not clear on needing to buy the butane. Being new to torch use, I did not realize they came empty. Bought zippo from Publix. Now I'm torchin!great price! VERY VERY fast delivery! Next day!

This works way better than I expected. I bought it to light hookah coals, and it works really well for that job.The torch seems well constructed. It’s got a sturdy feeling, and doesn’t seem poorly made at all.It is easy to refill. It doesn’t leak. It also doesn’t get too hot when it’s on for a long time. I haven’t tried, but I fully expect your could empty an fill without overheating the torch.

I’ve been using this for about a month or so to light fires in my woodstove because I got tired of Normal Lighter is always starting off great but then never working right after a few weeks. This thing is amazing, I wish I would’ve gotten it at the beginning of the winter. It lights my Kindling in so fast always has a strong flame and very easy to use. I’m sure it would be great for cooking as well.

So this product worked great and did what it was supposed to do it just wasn't that durable but for the price I think it lasted long enough "roughly 2 months" about 20 refills until the ignitor just stopped working

Was mainly looking for this safety feature in case someone drops it - you must keep your thumb button pressed for it to stay lit. The flame could be a little higher, but it does the trick well. The flame is very precise and sharp. The flame adjuster is almost hidden, but its there on the left side. Great price.

This is perfect. Easy to light,easy to store. Fits my wife's smaller hands. Great product
