I carefully researched this table, read all the reviews, compared manufacturers. I settled on Leisure Mod, and the manufacturer Concord Seating. They were both highly rated, down to the protective crated packaging for shipping. And after receiving my table, I know why. The table is the best purchase I have made in years--I think this will be the last coffee table I will ever need to buy, the style is timeless mid-century modern--it's Noguchi design! The price was unbelievable, with free shipping. I am SO happy, and have decided to make any future furniture purchases through Leisure Mod and Concord Seating. My living room is transformed, functional, chic. The surface area is huge, for flowers, a laptop, a few coffee table books, plenty of room to spare for your coffee cup. The wood is deep cherry, gorgeous, and very solid. There is no way it could tip, put that out of your mind, the glass is thick and heavy and the stand is sturdy--this piece is forever. Now on to the rest of the collection! My home will be a showplace out of Architectural Digest or a Manhattan penthouse by the time I'm done, all for the right price.

Very good quality table for the price. The glass is quite heavy and the natural wood is exactly the look I wanted. The assembly directions from the manufacturer are terrible. Just a drawing of the table and no indication of how the legs should be positioned. We were unsure at first whether the rubber pads attached to the table legs should be a barrier between the table and the floor or a barrier between the wood and glass top. I looked up the original Noguchi design and we ultimately put the rubber pads between the wood base and the glass to prevent the glass from sliding. Concord Seating was great to work with. The product came very quickly and packaged extremely well. The were quick to respond to questions and followed up multiple times to ensure I was happy. Definitely above-and-beyond customer service. I'd purchase from them again.

Beautiful. Already received lots of compliments on it. Couldn't notice any difference with the tables I'd seen at DWR or Room and board. It is indeed heavy, so you'll need two people to move it or assemble it. The two minor comments I have on it are 1) no assembly instructions, but you can easily find the ones for the original table, and let's face it, it is pretty straightforward. There is a recommendation to have the legs at a 52 degree angle. It would be cool to have a paper/cardboard showing it so that it is perfectly assembled every time. The other perk is that there was tape on the glass, and I needed solvents to clean it, being a chemist it was no problem to get access to them, but simple windex wasn't doing it. But as I said, this is me being picky. The table is beautiful and top quality.

This table is beautiful - but it is not high quality. After only 7 months, the table collapsed. I have never in my life had a piece of furniture collapse for no reason (we were not even home at the time!). When I contacted LeisureMod they told me that the 1 year warranty does not cover my situation (I am not sure why). They said that the table collapsed due to normal wear and tear. I asked for a refund - but all they would offer was for me to purchase the table again at half price! I would not recommend this table - it is a safety hazard.

This table exceeded my expectation in its quality and style. The glass is substantially thick and heavy. The sculptured base is superbly finished and looks just like a Noguchi sculpture. It perfectly fits my huge contemporary two-story-high-ceiling living room, expensive modern design furniture and collection of modern art pieces. The shipment came shortly after I ordered it and the packing was thoroughly done with layers of foam padding and wrapping, and placed in a wooden crate. The outside sheet of plastic wrapper had bold words, "High Claim Item" printed repeatedly and large $ signs to alert the UPS to handle with extra care. I compared this piece with the original at a very high end furniture store and did not see the difference. This is the best furniture item I have bought because the price is so low and the quality is so high.

We are in our 70's and the freight company refused to bring it into our house. There was no warning of this so it was a real problem for us.Otherwise, We love the table!

Beautiful table, and much more reasonably priced than the original Herman Miller. However, it's not very sturdy. I don't know how sturdy the original style is to compare though. Would be cautious with anyone putting their feet up on it, and definitely cannot slide it around to adjust.Glass is nice and thick.

Extremely high quality. The glass is VERY heavy. Best to have two people to handle it. The base requires one long screw, provided, to be attached with an allen wrench, provided. The base is easy. I don't think there were any instructions, but all it takes is to look at the product picture and put the screw in to connect those two middle pieces. Packaging was excellent. It took longer to unpack it (have a vacuum ready) than it did to install it. The lacquer, is, as promised, high quality. Highly recommend this table. p.s. The glass is tinted green, just as shown in the picture. You only notice it from the side because the beveled edge is thick. My table right now is on a black rug, so I don't see any tint from the top looking down. I plan to replace the rug with a white one so that the base is more visible. The tint will probably show up more then. I personally like a light tint on glass.
