I bought these for our 10x10 canopy tent for camping. They fit 3/4 of the way but it was enough to light our area. (Buy 2 if you want it to fit all the way plus down the middle). I say temperamental because at first they would not turn on, I was checking the wires and the bulbs (bulbs are plastic which is good for packing away for next camping trip) and it didn't seem to want to turn on. I was sad, then as the night went on they would turn on! Then turn off and on every 15min or so. Finally we discovered that the solar panel is extremely sensitive to light and as soon as it senses light they shut off! Realized our camp fire was triggering it🤦🏽‍♀️so make sure after your solar panel gets the most sun it's placed somewhere dark afterwards and you shouldn't have an issues! Overall they are very nice, not extremely bright and easy to pack away. Don't forget to get clips or something to keep them hung (Velcro strips, zip ties, carabiner clips) solar panel has its own clip or the option to stand in the ground.

I didn't know what to expect as far as how bright they would be or how well they would hold a charge, but I am impressed on both counts. They were very easy to install along the wooden fence and the solar panel sits atop facing south with the help of the screws included. The bulbs are plastic, so didn't have to worry about knocking them around as we set them up and hung them. The solar panel is small but getting almost a full day's sun (and even some periods of cloudiness some days) they give off a warm light that lasts all night long! They are still shining at 6:00am! The light is not as bright as my plug-in LEDs, but it is bright enough to walk along my stone paths without running into things, and more important, they lend a sweet, festive mood to my backyard. Have been using them for a week and they appear well-made and durable, so we will see how well they last in the heat of an California summer!

Wow. I am a total cheap person and don’t like spending extra amounts of money for something. I originally bought another solar string light that was very beautiful however the bulbs were really small and so was length. I realize I need to invest in more lights for underneath my patio and I also have children and a lot of the times the neighborhood children will come over to my house and my tree has exposed roots so I really wanted something that will light up that area of my tree that will give everybody the ability to see those roots and not make them such a tripping hazard at night because I love hanging out in my backyard. I was completely wowed by these lights I bought four of them because it was in my vision that I wanted a string of lights coming off of each pillar that I had onto my tree and it lights up the entire backyard it’s just so light back there it’s so gorgeous I love these lights they are worth it. The only reason I gave them a four-star under Durability is because I just purchased them and I don’t know how well they will hold up I am located in Virginia Beach Virginia so that will give you an idea of what weather these lights will go through and I will try to update this if for some reason these don’t hold up but if you don’t see an update then they’re holding up.

UPDATEI've had these for a few months now the update is they're only getting worse I kind of last night and after being in the Sun all day long charging they laughed at 47 minutes. Do not buy these they are worthless. There's other brands and I wish I had bought the same brand I had bought the first time that 1 last 7 and a half hours after the lights went off. So you have these cheap junk that lasts 48 minutes or spend 4 extra dollars and get a much much better pair these are worthless I'm gonna go end and take they're actually embarrassingbought a pair last year and the actual Pole that the solar panel sits on is too small now so it's really don't like the way it goes on now. When I bought it last year they should have kept it that way instead of cheeping out. So it only get 3 stars this time.

I had previously bought a set of these lights and hung them under the eaves of the back porch roof. The lights come on at dusk and stay on until dawn. I bought a second set of the lights and hung them under the eaves of my shed hoping to have light around that building and the back yard. These lights come on at dusk, but only last about 4 hours before going out. I was hoping they would stay on all night like the first string. It is possible the angle of the solar charger is wrong, will reset that and see if they stay on all night. Otherwise, the lights are easy to install, work well, convenient because they are are solar powered.

For the price, these market lights are really great. They look really nice, and work well. The light fades after a few hours, but it is a great way to light your patio or yard in the first few hours of the evening. And it's great that it doesn't use any electricity. The solar panels are really cool and can be attached to a clip or a stake for easy placement. Totally recommend!

Five years later, and these are still going …

The product was great! It seemed shatter resistant, I dragged it across my floor as I was hanging them and the light bulbs seemed to have no issues. Each light bulb had a little hole at the top for you to put a string on, which made hanging super easy.The only issue I ran into was that I was not able to take the solar charger out of the clamp after I put it on. I wanted to drill the solar charger onto my climbing wall to get maximum sunlight, but it was stuck so I had to drill the clamp on. Unfortunately the clamp makes the solar charger face downward. Luckily I had a slanted wood frame.
