Read this book back when I was a teenager….. very eye & mind opening book. I think Carl Sagan was an absolute visionary. Read some of his books or watch some old videos and compare where we are today. Even though it’s an older book, I think much of what he writes is still relevant and important which is why I bought it for my son to read.I think the only current person who comes close to Sagan is Dr. Brian Cox, also a great teacher.

This is the second copy of this book that I've owned. I wanted to comment on the seller. Excellent, great price for a book that's no longer very easy to find in this condition. Fast shipping. Of course the book is amazing. I only hope we get the series on blu-Ray.

An amazing book but showed up with a very large tear right in the middle of the dust jacket. I do not know if it is the sellers fault but the other pages and hardcover seem fine so no big deal.

This is an awesome book.

I rarely have time to write reviews but I am absolutely “over the moon” with my early Xmas gift to myself. It’s “out of this world”. My son gave me the Audible version and I am so looking forward to reading them in conjunction with each other. (like Jupiter and Saturn on the 21st December) The images are beautiful. I am a lucky 70 year old! I have always respected Carl Sagan and feel lucky that I have his iconic book. It will become a family heirloom hopefully for as long as our Pale Blue Dot exists. 🔵 🔵🔵

La verdad que el libro se merece 5 estrellas por su gran contenido, sus fotos de calidad y por la buena escritura, y realmente ayuda a coger una gran primera visión del Cosmos si te estas iniciando como es mi caso.El único problema fue la empresa distribuidora SEUR que fue un completo desastre, llegando un día tarde el paquete y ni siquiera te avisan de si hay problemas ni se ponen en contacto contigo ni nada. Espero que algún dia Amazon deje de trabajar con empresas como SEUR.Pero el libro merece mucho la pena y muy recomendable para aprender cultura ya que incluye parte de historia.

Yo lo tenía cuando era joven y aprendí mucho de él y de la serie documental del mismo nombre. Está claro que ha pasado el tiempo y hay cosas que han avanzado, pero seguirá siendo un clásico para comprender el universo y sus leyes.

la edición es magnífica, buena calidad del papel y la impresión. Una obra imprescindible para cualquier enamorado de la astronomía.

Cosmos es un clásico de la divulgación científica. Es una obra ya antigua pero la edición es maravillosa, las ilustraciones son magníficas. Es un libro para consultarlo y volver a él siempre.
