How you mount it is very important
The out put shaft is loose. To make it work I had to add a bearing to support the shaft. The bearing was in the mounting board I used. It will not take much load but for small projects it should work well. If you put too much load on it the gears get noisy. The main reason I purchased it was the quiet.... Support the out put shaft and keep the load light and it works fine. I would purchase it again for special projects. I have used both the 2rpm and 5 rpm.
