Netum Scan Wireless Barcode scanner its fast, picks up a variety of barcode types, easy to use and set up working straight out of the box, comes with barcode templates included in the documentation that comes with the box, great price. Handy that you can have it wireless, I also like the fact that you don’t have to be right up next to the barcode to use it, like the previous model we had.

Overall this is a very capable unit. Installs really easy and isn’t overly loud, had the odd trouble with barcodes that had printed that weren’t crisp, clear but nit crisp sharp lines. This aside it does what it needs to with ease, used many scanners that are trouble to setup and then use constantly, this has been pretty trouble free so far and is generally used for EAN 13 barcodes and the odd CODE 39’s.

Having a need to scan literally hundreds of bar codes for books this wireless bar code reader is much easier to use than a wired older version was attempting to use. This kit arrived well packed with a good set of instructions.Pleased to say this kit works straight out of the box with speed and 100% accuracy.The actual scanner is light weight and comfortable use it sits in hand well.

It is sturdy and well made from good quality materials ' NetumScan Wireless Barcode Scanner 2 in 1 (2.4G Wireless & USB Wired) Handheld 1D Bar Code Reader USB Rechargeable for Computer MAC Laptop NS1698W ' .I like that the barcode scanner is lightweight and comfortable to use.Moreover,it looks modern and stylish,quite small size so compatible.It is great,that to use this barcode reader is easy,however if you do it for first time instructions are not clear and detailed enough.In the included manual provided a lot of barcodes for programming the scanner,so keep it,you will definitely need these codes.For example if you want to clear all memory,or upload the data,or disable sleep mode.I like and that scanner has some memory and can store 2000 pieces codes,and it is great that I can use this barcode reader 2,4G Wireless & USB Wired makes my work easier.Good value for the money.

use on wireless or wired via USB - scans every bar code of every kind that I could find! Sets up as a USB keyboard to allow simulated key entry of codes. Device setup is via scanning items in the provided booklet (for example one barcode for beep on and another for beep off). Highly functional and well thought out device.

The accuracy is really good making it quick and easy to use, haven't had any issues with it.

the setup of this is quite fiddly at first, but i don't think it's the device as it's recognised in windows no problems. i think its probably the zebra application causing issues. once you get it up and running it's working fine. we sell a lot of fulfilled by amazon packages so we use a lot of barcodes and this is comfortable to hold and has a good battery life. it's a little slow though when reading and recognising the barcode - again, not sure if this is the device or the software. the range is a little weak too for recognising the barcode - find we have to get quite close up. perhaps this is not for heavy use but casual, home run business perhaps.

So far I’ve found this really easy to use. It comes with a manual that has different barcodes in so you can change the settings but I haven’t used anything different yet. So far I’ve just plugged it into a laptop and began populating a spreadsheet with stock inventory. It’s been really easy to set up and has identified everything so far. Seems a real bargain!
