Case LogicEHDC-101 Hard Shell Case for 2.5-Inch Portable Hard Drive - Black

The CaseLogic EHDC 101 hard case is a perfect fit form my Seagate 5-TB external drive. The data cabel fits in the netted compartment and the drive is held securely by an elastic snap. IMO, this is an excellent case, I have several and the drive is very well protected from drops and case is very well made as you'd expect from CaseLogic.

I purchased this case to house a "LaCie Porsche Design 5TB USB-C Mobile Hard Drive" purchased at the same time based on this product's details on what size drive it could accommodate and the dimensions listed for that drive. The drive fits, but it's quite snug. The case is well-designed and appears to be well-manufactured. Both cables supplied with that LaCie drive fit just fine in the inner pocket of my case. The zipper is not easy to close around the first corner, but that's due to how tight the fit is for the LaCie drive; that might not be a problem when used for other drives. I've previously owned smaller Case Logic cases for USB sticks, and those were mediocre, but this case is clearly of much better quality.Owners of that line of LaCie drives who are considering this case might keep in mind that if the manufacturing tolerances for it vary even a little, then their drive might not fit in their case. Perhaps that's very unlikely, but it's something to think about.

Case was exactly what was needed for my portable HDD.

I bought my first one about 8 years ago, and the only one I have bought since, having amassed a good 20+ of these. Best portable drive case in my opinion, keeps things where they should be inside nicely. Durable and protective. Never had a zipper break, or the net or band inside break. I've never had to toss one away for any reason in the years I have been using these.My only gripe, and this is only due to having many of these, is labeling them. I use a silver sharpie (I have most all black ones) on the side bind to label them. Less than ideal, and takes some effort to not look a mess. Recently got some fine point paint markers for something else, but that may work better for these.I don't have a solution as to how to improve this case for labeling it, and it is just my gripe having so many and not a knock on the case.The only other thing is when they were $6.99, that was great, at $9.99, a little more painful if you need a bunch.Oh, and they stack pretty good to, or line them up like books an a shelf. Better for me than a binder style or such.

It fits a Game Boy Pocket.

This case provides excellent protection for portable hard drives. Good value for the money.

Case itself is what I expected. Advertised internal dimensions of 3.3 x 1.2 x 5.3 in are not accurate. The HDD drive I have is 3.19 x 0.56 x 5.06 in and it barely fits inside the Case Logic case. I can zip the case closed, but I have to force the HHD drive inside. The problem is the top part of the cushion is at the advertised dimension, but the bottom part is smaller because the surrounding side cushion is tapered with the wide part on top and the narrow part at the bottom. The bottom width is 3.19 in but the length is only 4.88 in.
