Alta YBN Bicycle Chain Twotone, (Single-Speed, 1/2 x 1/8-Inch, 112L) Multiple Colors

I have a single speed mongoose bmx, 20 inch. Had to take off a little length but was easy enough to do with a flathead and a mallet. Comes oiled and ready to install onto bike, safety clip provided as well. Picked the black and chrome. Chrome doesn't stand out as much as I expected but suits the bike better as is. From start to finish and with appropriate tools, job took about 5-10 minutes. Final product looks really nice, seems like it should hold fine but still needs to be put to the test

I got this cause I'm rebuilding my current bike and the old chain is saggy like an old man's balls so I got this to replace it and to with my color scheme. So far it's been pretty good, I've been out riding xc trails on a BMX bike with this on it and it's held up much better than the stupid Bell brand one I got from Walmart as a temp chain that broke in one day. I basically torture tested this for like 4 hours straight on dirt jumps, pump track and the hardest trails they have by me and it's been able to handle some trials stuff while feeling very comfortable. Hasn't seemed to stretch out, pins are still in place, only complaint is that the master link it comes with is garbage but I knew that before buying and got a better one. Seems like a pretty good chain but it's only been a day and 25 miles so far

Sadly I split the chain to short and didn’t get it to fit, but I could just tell it’s chain was quality. I loved how nice it looked and it came oiled up and ready to put on. Now I switched to a 21 speed but if I ever get a beach cruiser, and need a chain, this is what I would get.

It's a really cool chain, I like the colors. The sheen is not too shiney but more of a matte look. Not too flashy which is what I like. The master link has a clip that I found difficult to lock into place and is also too wide for a rear derailler set up. Very inexpensive but appears good quality. Time will tell and a few miles.

These chains are too skinny for the old school rear sprockets. I bought 3 of them and they just don't work on my old school BMX. Its my bad for not knowing there are different sizes. Nice chain though.

Two part review, First time using this brand of chain...the color is nice lightweight and rides pretty smooth and quite no issues breaking the chain for installation a couple of the links were stubborn and i had to twist them to loosen other than that no issues. March 23, 2019 chain is 7 months old, i put a lot of miles on it riding 10 or more miles a day it has become squeaky i keep it lubed so it's probably time to change it. Not a bad chain no real complaints..
