Perfect.
This was exactly what I was looking for. The subtle texture of the paper is nice, gives a warm glow. It came in a thick cardboard board with lots of packing in perfect condition. I prefer clip on shades so I used a clip on and it worked extremely well with this shade. Fast delivery, no damage. I would buy it again.

Mine arrived in perfect shape. The packaging was just right, neither excessive or skimpy such that the product was damaged. It's exactly as ordered, a very plain kraft paper shade, lets as much light through as you would expect. It would be great for embellishing, as for me I use it just as is in a rustic casual setting so it works fine.

It is the perfect size and hue but arrived damaged
This arrived wrapped & bubbled only somewhat securely in a large box. It is the perfect size and hue but arrived damaged. I think because the paper is so lightweight for the hardware that undue stress is placed at the connection points and the thin paper cracks like a tear. Since it was a shade for a sleeping porch and elevated for use w/wall switch, I decided to keep it as not worth the trouble to return. I clear taped the inside up near the small top where two 1.5 in. almost tears were meeting diagonally. Positioning the taped crack towards the wall & making it disappear has upped my rating by a star. If I can't see it, for sure, nobody else will and the price was very fair.

Not the best quality, but it will suffice
Not the best quality, but it will suffice. I ordered two and one was perfect, the other was damaged in several places, to the extent that I think someone must have seen the damage but packed it for shipping anyway. I am sending one back for replacement, hoping I'll get a second perfect one. Made of paper - you could draw on it for a DIY project - shades are probably best for an adult environment; too flimsy to have around kids.

Ugly paper bag on a lamp shade frame!
This is the ugliest lamp shade we’ve ever seen! It looks like a paper bag or the brown paper used to wrap a box for shipping wrapped around a lamp shade frame.Sad, because the size is perfect for our lamp.
