APPLAUSE!!!!!
THE PRIVATE CLUB (BOOK 1) by J.S. COOPER & HELEN COOPERShort trilogies are a hit right now. I think. I have read J.S. & Helen’s THE EX GAMES and I love it soooooo much and I am thankful that they are working on the next book. And now, this trilogy. YAY! I think why short series like this one is a true hit is because the story is short, precise yet it gives you the right amount of thrill, sex, romance and excitement you need in a story and the twist are mind-blowing. I mean, you really can’t decide what will happen next and it will just blow in your face and you didn’t even know it.The Private Club is a spin-off (in a way) of THE EX GAMES trilogy. Here, we get to read Meg’s story, Katie’s best friend and Greyson Twining who happens to be a college buddy and business partner of Brandon. And their journey begins when Meg applied for a job in a “Private Club” that Greyson is one of the owners. There was spark the moment they met and Greyson knows it or maybe he was thinking of it as sexual connection at first but what I would like to see is him realizing that what’s going on between him and Meg is something more. Meg didn’t expect that the job she applied for would be something erotic and very, very intimate. She though she was applying for a bartender gig but she was so wrong. Meg is a smart woman and at 25 & an unemployed lawyer she has an idea of what she got into. I think her wild side drove her to stay and her inner lawyer piqued her interest to find out more about what is going on in Greyson’s sort of a club. The banter between Meg & Greyson is so comical to read and the sexual tension they have is so hot it can light up an old house. I think Greyson has this sensitive & romantic side in him and she showed it in this book in some scenes that even if it may appear sexual, there’s the romance in it. Or maybe not. Maybe he is deceiving Meg or something. Gaaaaaaaaaaaaah! Greyson is like a puzzle that Meg needs to solve. It’s like he has this layers of persona that he is not showing and only one person can peal it off him and I’d like to think that it is Meg. Yes, I am a romantic. A denial hopeless romantic and it sometimes shows in my review. Ssshhhhhhhhh :DThe cliffhanger, I kinda saw coming. There would be a cliffhanger for sure but what shocked me is Greyson’s clever mind. I just want to know what happened after the last scene in the book. Like now, NOW! J.S. Cooper and Helen Cooper writes one of the most thrilling and romantic stories ever. Okay, I may be biased but I am right. Right? Well, I know I am and I simply adore their work and cannot wait for more.:)** Also posted on my TUMBLR & GR account

Wow sexy and suspenseful
SPOILER ALERT BEWARE!!! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!! Ok I loved the ex games but these books are getting very interesting now. I'm dying to learn these secrets. What the hell are Brandon and Grayson into? I have a few ideas but I'm not sure. Meg has come to the club for what she thought was a bartending job to earn money after being let go from her lawyer job. There she meets Grayson the hot sexy owner. While in his office he gets a call from Brandon, her best friends boyfriend, telling Grayson not to hire meg. Then he hire a her and kisses her. Omg he's hot and mysterious. She put in a room with a roommate for three days of tests to get hired. Evident Grayson never shows interests in the new hires until now. He seems infatuated with Meg. He follows her into the testing rooms and they come really close to having full blown sex. He gives her multiple orgasms too, omg. She's in the third room and expects him to join her. She's kissing a man in the dark who she believes is Grayson but it's not. She hears him in the hall talking to Brandon. There are so many questions unanswered and I'm dying to learn them. I could not stop reading this. Ugh it's too short I need more now.

Captured!
This book captured me from the beginning--a lawyer loses her job, without seeking an explanation, and decides to interview for a bartending position. This position is obviously not for bartenders and I cannot wait to find out what kind of Private Club this is--and what the position entails! At the end of the story, I am convinced that every character, including Meg's best friend is "in" on some great secret! The chemistry between Greyson (maybe a different name would have been better--reminded me too much of Christian Grey) and Meg was amazing. These authors really know how to describe intensity and chemistry between main characters! The only thing that bothered me a bit was the mis-use of commas here and there and there was a mention of Nancy reminding her of "Meg"-- of course, she didn't mean Meg (as SHE is Meg), she meant Katie. I had to re-read a couple of sentences a few times to make sure I knew what the author MEANT to say. I began ignoring commas and that helped. I feel like if they would have had a third party just read through the books one more time, these little things would have been easily corrected. It was a slight distraction when reading such a good book. This book is off the charts HOT and INTENSE and an amazing beginning to The Private Club!!!I am thankful that the next two books will be out so soon! I can't wait to see what happens next!!

"A Stunning Bad Boy Billionaire Romance!"
This is the first book of J.S Cooper I have read and it is awesome!.Meg thought she had her life planned out. She was supposed to be on tract to becoming a partner in the Law firm she was working at. But then she is fired from her Associate position. Now here she is applying for a bartender position at a private club. She is so embarrassed about it she has on aired wig and calling herself Jada. When she goes for the interview the Man there is sexy, and Arrogant. He shocks her by telling her to take her clothes off. Just then he gets a call, and it seems that he is told not to hire her. When he hangs up he grabs the red wig off her and calls her by her real name. She learns his name is Grayson Twining and he is the co owner of the club. She is hired anyways but there is something going on at this club that is not Right. Can Meg resist this sexy Man?. Plus what is the mystery of this club?.You will love this book with its mystery, suspense, and scorching hot romance!. This is a must read book!.

JS Cooper and Helen Cooper have done it again. Part I delivers with a sucker punch.
This is a novella that is packing a huge punch!! It has some of the characters we met in The Ex Games and a few new ones. No doubt some i will love and others i will love to hate. I both love and hate novella's. Cliff hangers frustrate me in some ways and in others it makes me feel excited. So on to the book. In the ex games we met Katie's best friend and roommate Meg. She had lost her job at the law firm, Brandon Hastings doing. When he found out that Meg had an interview at the private club he also warn Meg not to go. Yet he wouldn't explain more. Meg being Meg decided to go anyway. She thought it was a bartending job but its anything but, not that we actually know what her job is as nothing has been given away. I have my own theories. I believe there is more, much more to the private club.Meg is given a trial, a three day trial even though she is not what the club normally look for in their employees. Her would be boss is showing an interest in her, something that is out of character for him. This book has given me many, many more questions and not very many answers. What is the private club? what is Brandon's involvement in it? Is Maria, Nancy's sister, the same Maria that Brandon dated in college or the one who was looking after his son? Why would Greyson lie about Brandon not being engaged? So so many questions. Only seven days to wait for part II.

The Private Club
This is a short story, the first part of a series. The premise is good, so is the writing, and it had m hooked from page one. I did find it a bit confusing in some parts but I think things will become clearer as we go into book two!Quite steamy read also!
