Blue Trek Hummer X2 Water Resistant Bluetooth Headset (Black)

Absolutely terrible. Came with "Verizon" logo all over the package. They should be ashamed. Charging jack broke and left the tip of the plug inside the headset on first use. The volume level is so low unless you are sitting in a quiet room, and I mean quiet, it is not usable. The water resistant idea is much needed but unfortunately this will not perform adequately. Great idea but horrendous implementation.

the good: supposedly waterproof(advertised, although i haven't had the joy of testing), lanyard can be dead useful, average battery life, moderately comfortable, dirt cheap!the bad: very quiet~ both the speaker and microphone are extremely weak(tested using 3 entirely different phones!), ear 'rings' are ok for short term use, but chafe after a while.overall: you get what you pay for as this is a cheap headset. it is blatantly falsely advertised though. the box shows all types of activities, but i doubt it'd perform in a single one of these. one of the pictures is of a man in a convertible chatting away... I drive a semi, and i have trouble hearing anything being said to me even when idling with the windows up. if you are just looking for something to get you by while sitting in solitary confinement or a library. although for the latter, you'd probably get kicked out for yelling into the mic when you get a call.I have used this, multiple plantronics, jawbone, sennheiser, motorola, blue parrot, pioneer, and other headsets, and in this price range the plantronics 222 and 330 outperform in every single way other than being waterproof(they are not, as i can fully attest. oops!).

Sits well, once you've got it on. I am still having a hard time figuring out how to use the headset properly. I can make out going calls fine, but can't get incoming calls to connect to the headset (which was the main reason for purchasing this one) This might be down to my phone which I've had other problems with.

head set worked good for a month or two then lost all sound. they could hear me but i couldnt hear them.. was used though. but i did nit expect it to break so fast.
