crackajack Reasonable Price, Lightweight, Compact, Protective and Portable, Travel Umbrella, Your Intimate Helper in This Season!

This little beauty trekked around Costa Rica with me for 10 days... I wanted something ultra lightweight due to neck/shoulder issues (read: something that wouldn't add weight to my purse/backpack) as well as protection from the sun (melasma issues) and wanted protection from the often torrential downpours! Although size wise it's truly just protection for one person, I am extremely pleased with the performance of this little umbrella. Opening and closing are manual, but work in a swift easy motion. The final closure with the wrap doesn't mimic the stock photo, but it doesn't take up much space regardless! Keeps you cooler and protected in the beating sun and dries super quickly after a downpour! Can't think of anything I'd change at this point! Very pleased!

I love this little umbrella! Since I had a basil cell carcinoma removed this year on the back of my neck, staying out of the sun is necessary for me. I bought this because of its UV protection. During a hard very windy rainstorm, it blew open one time but it was very easy for it to spring back.

Was a bit wrinkled, but that was to be expected as a new product. It is sturdy and easy to clean. The closure is easy to use and better than your typically snap closure that can break or not fit properly. This closure uses a stretching "button" technique where the rubber security stretches over the button to close the umbrella fabric. The size allows it to be transportable wherever I go, whether it be school, work, vacation or home. The pink was exactly as pictured as well. Good for use of one person, but if you like to use bigger umbrellas for sharing, this one probably won't work for you.

I am so happy and thankful that I bought this umbrella before I left to San Diego Comic Con. The weather is always beautiful in Diego, but this year it was particularly hotter and sunnier than in previous years. This little Gadget came in handy while waiting in line by the Sails Pavilion at the convention center. Had I not purchased it, I would have been burnt to a crisp. Thank you for making such a trustworthy and portable umbrella that protected me and my friends from the harsh Sun.

This is a really good compact umbrella, it provides adequate rain cover but also blocks harmful uv Ray's so it is great to use over children on hot days to help protect them from the sun, It is very Lightweight and fits into the palm of your hand nicely, perfect to throw into handbag or car to protect you from sudden downpour.

Feels a little weird but I love the weight and that it is so compact.

I understand that no umbrella is "wind-proof", but this is ridiculous.Experiment: take any umbrella, open it, hold it out and spin in a circle at a moderate speed. The umbrella should NOT flip inside out. This one does. Apparently, you have to sacrifice structural integrity for being ultra light. Though, I don't remember ever in my lifetime feeling like a compact umbrella was weighing me down, but I have been frustrated when a slight breeze blows it out. I bought this for the AZ sun, not for an "it's better than a newspaper" emergency. Two stars for being a stylish blackout umbrella. Negative three stars for immediately blowing out because the wind blew. Will be returning.

The actual umbrella is average sized, But when it’s closed up, I cant believe how small and compact it gets. Such a cool and unique design! It folds up backwards (the outer half is hinged to swing UP when you close it instead of down like most umbrellas). When it's rolled up, it has the inside out. I will say the picture isnt accurate showing the outside - out. This isnt advertised as a heavy duty umbrella. It is what it is. If you are looking for a nice, light weight, compact umbrella - for the occasional rain - this is your umbrella. NO umbrella is going to withstand a storm! I love this thing, and it’s in my purse right now! **UPDATE - unfortunately, this umbrella didnt even withstand a light rain with a light breeze. It certainly ISNT "windproof". It broke within 3 minutes of opening it. It's been too long since I ordered it so I cant return it. I wouldnt recommend this if you are counting on it to keep you dry in the rain or a light breeze. Changing my rating from 5 to 2. I keep two stars because it IS a unique concept. And it may be that I just got a lemon?!
