Working great
It is too small for what I need. Other wise work well for the price

Use the appropriate size mesh; too fine will clog instantly with hop and grain debris.
Will use this to strain wort for home brew. This is actually a 20 mesh. Have two finer filters (50 & 80) from the same company. Tried to use the 50 on my last batch, but it clogged immediately. These are small, 3 1/2 high by 1 1/2 inches inlet to outlet. I intend to try one of the finer ones for a final strain on bottling day and this 20 mesh to strain the wort the next time I brew. Hopefully, the larger mesh will work. They're plastic with stainless screens and a rubber sealing washer. It didn't leak even when clogged and they disassemble for cleaning.

Excellant does exactly what I wanted it too.
Great product! Does exactly what I hoped for! Very easy to install and clean. One thing to note, the size given is for the OD of the hose to be attached. I bought the 3/8 size for use with a 1/2" garden hose and I needed to use clamps. No biggy but just so the next person knows.

It works!
I purchased this strainer to catch any trash that might get sucked into the sump pump on my boat. I have water in the sump with a lot of trash that I am cleaning out and this little in-Line Strainer with 50 mesh Stainless Steel Filter Screen does the job. With this setup I have found the cause of the water in the bilge. Without this filter the pump would not have lasted.

Good option for the money
I used this to filter my homebrew. It worked a lot better than I thought it would. The barbed ends fit the same diameter tubing my siphon used. I filtered out of my primary on two batches. It picked up quite a bit.The only down side was I had to stop and empty it a couple times. That isn't to big of a down side because it showed it was doing its job.I'm sure there are better filters out there. But this works good for me for the money. I'm only doing a couple batches a month of 1 and 3 gallons. If I had a larger scale operation. I would want to consider something bigger.

Works as it should.
I use this for home brew. It works great at filtering any trub from getting into my kegs. Highly recommend.

Perfect strainer for homebrewing!
I have a few of these I use for straining beer while transferring to a secondary racking for clarity or dry hopping. I also have the mini ones I use on occasion for kegged homebrew/beer that has particulate in it. (Sometimes I use a stainless hop ball/infuser in the keg that leaks a little hop matter into the keg.) Make sure to use the larger size for straining the primary carboy or the small one will clog quickly. You can buy different mesh screens of various microns from the VacMotion website but the complete strainers are cheaper on Amazon for some reason. There is also another 3rd party that re-packages these exact VacMotion filters for homebrewing with a huge markup.
