I waited for several months to post this review so I could have an opportunity to wash this and see how it fared in the washing machine. I bought an 8' x 5' piece of carpeting, and was very pleased to see how thick, heavy and luxurious it was. I cut out a small piece to fit around the base of the toilet, and as mentioned in the product description, the edges are unfinished. You will get small pieces of nap coming off when edges aren't finished, but this isn't a big problem. When I finally had to wash it, thanks to a grandson who can't aim very well, I expected a lot of nap edge fibers to be collected in the lint trap and there was hardly any at all! It washed beautifully considering its size and weight, and I hung it to dry overnight. It looked even better than when I first bought it after I replaced it in the bathroom. Exceptionally nice rubber backing too. I expect this to last a long time! I have had similar products over the years from another company and they were nowhere near as nice and well made as this.

After searching EVERYWHERE for carpets to fit my odd-shaped bathroom, I was going to order this for wall to wall install. My husband nixed that idea, so instead, I ordered a large piece and had it cut into two pieces, so I have two area rugs, each of which, while large, are still small enough for me to wash in my machine. I may round the corners, I may trim to snug one piece up around the toilet base, or I may leave them as is. Service was excellent, color (platinum) was beautiful. It was not super thick carpet, but I didn't want that as I thought that could be a bigger trip hazard, so I'm happy.UPDATE 6/2020: in great shape, and I realized I should pass along that I chose not to wash these in my machine which has an agitator, but instead take to a laundromat with tumble washers. I think an agitator could really be rough on the backing, and they will last longer if they are not put through that rough handling.

Although it is the type of floor covering I was searching for, it is slightly off color compared to what I wanted. I must confess, however, after searching MANY MANY websites this supplier had the color that was closest to the shade I wanted. I like that I was able to order by the lineal foot to reduce waste while cutting the carpet to fit the bathroom. I like the texture and smooth feeling. Only other advice: If this is a replacement for an old carpet, use the old one as a pattern using a fine tip marker on the backing side; cut outside the marker line--When I finished the new carpet was a perfect fit and without a lot of trouble from having to "custom fit" the carpet around cabinetry and commode.

This is the nicest carpet I've ever ordered for wall to wall installation in my bathroom. The color is stunning. I chose Lily. The quality is top notch. I've carpeted many bathrooms and comparing carpets ordered from other companies, this one is, I believe to be by far the best quality. The thickness is perfect for a bathroom and the weave is tight; it looks like it could be suited for a bedroom. The backing looks like it will stand up to time. There's a plus with this company; that is the choice of colors, lots of retro and modern shades. I highly recommend this carpet. And the company service is nice. I received a phone call from the manager, personally confirming my color choice.

Very convenient and cuttable bath rug. The Pebble gray is a nice color. Cutting straight was a little challenging as the end pieces of thread can look a bit off if you cut through them. I still have a slight amount of shedding. Overall a great option when conventional rug dimensions don't work for you. I would pay a little more for a denser option but then it would possibly be harder to cut.

I love my new bathroom carpet!! There were so many colors to choose from and the one I chose looks even better than the picture. There is even some cushioning to it. I could not find bathroom carpeting with a backing on it in my home town so I was very pleased when I found exactly what I was looking for on Amazon. After someone cut it to fit my bathroom, I just laid it down and it looks like I have a new bathroom. The price was almost the same price of 20 years ago that I paid for the piece of old carpet I replaced. I definitely recommend giving this company your business.

I selected platinum and the color is great. It has blue tones in artificial lighting such as in a bathroom but in sunlight it has more silvery tones. This color works very well. It blends in and is not loud jumping out at you as real dark colors would do on a floor. Very happy with the quality of the carpet. It has a lot of flexibility to it and you do need to smooth it multi times when you are installing it over a pad and tack strips. But the pad under it sure makes it very cushy.

I would have given 10 stars if I could. Really beautiful cut to fit carpeting. Truly thick and weighty and wonderful. Got mine cut and laid in my bathroom in the midnight color. My bathroom is all navy and white. Looks and feels so awesome. I've bought cut to fit carpeting for my bathroom 2 or 3 times over the many years and this is without a doubt the best quality of anything else I've found. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
