Infinity Instruments 8" Retro Diner Red Silent Wall Clock

I love the look of this clock. It fits perfectly with my 1956 kitchen! The only "issue" was that it arrived with a small dent. Since it was not really noticeable when I hung it on the wall and it doesn't effect its ability to keep time, I decided it was really a non-issue. It's been keeping perfect time since I got it. Very good quality!

I have a thing for clocks & this is my 3rd clock from Infinity Instruments, so I had faith I would like this clock, but I honestly wasn't expecting to absolutely love this clock...it's awesome!! First - let me say that my other 2 clocks from Infinity are going on 5yrs old & have been through some major abuse during some moves - but they're both still perfectly on time & absolutely silent - so I know this brand makes some quality products.I initially bought this to put in my sons room - he just turned 3 & we wanted a clock to use to start teaching him time - it had to have a second hand & minute markings & had to be silent (since all clocks in my house must be silent or they will be destroyed). The fact that it was red was a bonus as that's his favorite color. But what I didn't think of was how solid this clock would be - the case is made of steel & it's 3" deep (all of this info is in the listing - I just didn't really think about that). We're hoping to hang this around eye level for him meaning he will be able to get it off the wall if given the chance to & this clock is so solid that if he were to get to it & then drop it or test it's flying capabilities (which is always possible with a toddler, although accidentally dropping it is much more likely) he could do some damage. So I think I'll be looking for a much crappier clock for his room...but I'm thrilled I made the mistake as this means I can now keep this clock for myself.It's a smaller clock - 8.5" (most wall clocks start around 9-9.5" & while that may not seem like a huge difference when it comes to diameter it actually is). And it does sit quite a ways off the wall - the picture really doesn't give you a good idea of the depth of this clock - but it's deep. It's perfect for a smaller room or a bathroom - which is where I plan to hang it. I hope I can find another clock for my son. We have a ton of clocks including some from other brands like Bai & Decomates - but the Infinity clocks are the only ones that have lasted so long while remaining absolutely silent (in fact my Bai clock started ticking after just a few months; the Decomates one still runs great - but it's starting to develop a slight tick). I think I'll be looking for a desktop clock for my son instead - something that's designed to be picked up if need be (& something that won't put a dent in our hardwoods if dropped - or hurt the daylights out of his toes). But again - still very happy I didn't think of this till after getting this clock - since I think this is now my favorite one in the house!!

Smaller than expected.I did not read description very well. but it fits in the space where i wanted .

Beautiful color and sturdy. Seems well-made and solidly built with bright red metal exterior and attractive clock face. Totally silent operation. Only reason I didn't give it five stars is that it is hard to see from the side. The clock face is so deeply set that if you're viewing from off to the side, you may not be able to see all the numbers.

Metal frame surrounds this excellent time keeping clock that I placed in my kitchen. It has kept perfect time for over 4 years! The second hand made a strange noise after about a month but corrected itself and the noise went away in two days--I don't know what that was about. Totally silent now. I like having a second hand. I love the face of this clock because I like numbers from 1-12 and not just a 12-3-9-6 like some clocks. Easy to read from a distance. It is hollow in the back. Inverted it looks like a dog dish from the back (or upside down). Kind of cool that it sticks out from the wall. Has a touch of personally that way. I am well pleased with this clock and the price was right!

I was reluctant to purchase this clock because I thought it might actually turn out to be made of cheap tinny or plastic material. I was wrong indeed This is a good quality, heavy duty clock that stands out beautifully in, and looks like it was custom made for, my newly remodeled kitchen. One thing, though, that would NOT be a deal breaker for me . . . there is not a hook on the back of the clock to hang it on the wall. However, my husband put a screw in the wall with a slightly large head, and it hooked easily and securely just inside the metal "lip" that rolls into the back of the clock. Since the screwhead hooked under the "lip," it is not visible. Perfect solution!

I LIKE the nearly glare-free glass (another wall clock with a plastic cover has a lot of glare coming from it). Seems accurate and is as pictured -- good size for a room clock. It DOES stick out of the wall about 3 inches or so, but that's a design element some may like

I love this clock, I put it in my bathroom on the wall beside my tub. I did this so I could keep tract of the timewhile I'm taking my shower. It is totally silent with large black numbers that I can see with out my glasses,my vision is pretty bad without my glasses. I read the reviews, I know some people had trouble hanging itup, I just used a medium long nail with a larger head. This worked out fine and it hasn't fell down yet. I alsoliked the fact that it had a glass cover to protect the numbers and clock itself.

very nice in my son's bedroom. Adds a nice punch of colour.
