Great light color, design and value!
This is my second order of these great LEDs! I have five different brands of LEDs burning in different locations and these are the best AND probably the best value. The light "might" be a little Cooler than 2700 (maybe 3000K?) but they look great! My oak office looks so good my employees all want them for theirs. Furthermore, I can see better! I didn't realize how lousy some of the other LED light was much less the old CFLs were until I turned these on.Neigh sayers about low priced LED's life expectancy being lower because of the lack of an adequate heat sink should take note of Cree's (Cree is an industry leader) new convection cooled bulbs, which these bulbs are (see holes). (See 10/28 or 10/27 Gizmag report or take my word for it.) However, since heat kills bulbs, I would not recommend for enclosed cans. (Convection cooling is extremely limited by enclosures.) Anyway, I have never had an LED failure.

Pleasing, but cooler than incandescent
The light from this lamp is definitely cooler than incandescent PAR 30 lamps, so take that into consideration if mixing with existing lighting. It's crisp and pleasing enough, however. Only time will tell on longevity of the lamp.
